10 ft ganja plant!!!!! why hasnt he been mentioned!!! 10 ft is apparently a group of OG reggae heads from johns band, who operate secretly under the 10 ft name to make reggae, i love their stuff because its mostly instrumentals!

i really like the style of reggae that is mostly instrumental with HARD BASS. the kind that makes your entire car shake everytime the bass hits. i havent hot boxed and reggae knocked in YEARS, reminds me of high school. makes me want to buy some 15s to put in my car so i can drive around stoned out of my brain knocking black uhuru and 10 ft on full volumne!


man i wish i could find this black uhuru im trying to remember, it has almost NO lyrics, just instrumental, i think it has the word "city"?? or "black"

Have tried to get into reggae a bunch over the past few years, never really know who to listen to, where to find music etc, this thread is sweet though. lambs-bread thread too.

found jah cure so far, fucking great!!! I am pretty particular abouy my reggae, like marley(s), some collie, discovered "Bedouin Soundclash" a while back, like toot/maytals and stuff, roots reggae I guess? if anyone has some recommendations like that much appreciated, just found this thread so I'll bee reading it for a while.

i like dub.. modern dub too if its slow...

I'm w/ Nokuy on roots. None more alive to me then roots. Dub, dancehall and lovers rock sure have their places, but roots is where it's at. I'm constantly reading verses in the bible that i heard in roots earlier....to me, they kinda go hand in hand.
Down to the babylonian system!! Ahhh, I long for the day I&I can be free!
