Is there a shortage?

Hello I have three Inzane in the Membrane from Ethos Genetics in 2,2gal autopots, and use the scheme ^^water only^^. I'm currently trying it with a Scrog and had a correspondingly longer growing season. Now the plants are getting lighter in the upper area, at first I thought it was from stretching, but I'm now at flowering day 28 and the plants are getting dark spots on the edges in the upper area. Is there a potassium deficiency here? Can I fertilize with Silicium Flash from Biotabs? Best regards, Koni

Water only can mean a lot of different things when it comes to what the plant uses. I would do a pour thru and catch a little of the leachate. Test the liquid and see if the pH is dropping or the EC is too low. If your EC is very low you can supplement lightly to give your plants what they need and get through flowering. But, "I wouldn't do it unless I tested the discharge first" just in case your EC is high.

If the pH drops due to the amendments breaking down, you can buffer the substrate with cal mag. Cal Mag liquid is the fastest and will go to work the quickest since you're in flowering. If you decide to use cal-mag make sure you use the Carbonate instead of the Nitrate since you're in flowering. Organic farmers will perchlorate some dolomite lime in pure water with an airstone to get the same effect. Again I would not advise anyone to add anything without first testing the leachate.

@Creeperpark Thanks for your advice. I have ordered a Ph and EC tester and will see what my values are. I took pictures at night. So you can see it better.
