Lived, worked and grew in VA for about a third of my life.
Are you familiar with the history of government grow sites in the Northern VA area ?

Not at all gry, I'm not too far from Nova. Tho some folks say I live in northern Virginia, it's not the same vibe. Lol.
I'm in baby mountains and cow country.

Things are starting to open up now

There is a very neat thread here that goes into a good bit of detail over the many accomplishments of a gentleman by the name of Lyster Dewey who was a botanist for Uncle Sam, that worked extensively with cannabis. http://www.lysterdewey.com/about/arlington-experimental-farm/
Recall feeling like a sense of humor was appropriate when I looked into the locations that he used for growing.

Oh, I had heard about hemp being grown at the present site of pentagon property. Thanks for the links Gry. Very interesting

There is another thread on the same topic from a few years ago here in which several people did contribute, which was
neat as could be. Seem to recall three sites in the area that he used. All where on the VA side of the river, believe one was
on a property which is very near the present day CIA headquarters
