Is It Ok To Put My Clone On 12/12 ?

I just now took this cutting

Can i put her right into 12/12 and it still grow out after she takes root ?

everything iv read so far shows to put clones under vegging hours first , and that 12/12 is just to sex to find out what the sex is of the plant that you took the cutting from , then dispose of the clone after you find that out

But i have not found anything yet about taking clones and going right into 12/12 to fully flower ,

Can you go right into 12/12 with a clone and it still flower into a nice little plant ? I know it would not be a big one , but maybe a 15 " plant after it took root then finished flowering

Or do you have to absolutely put it under vegging hours first ?

I have googled this and even went to youtube but i just cant seem to find that out

So any info on this is greatly appreciated

you should wait till your cut gets some roots started before you 12/12.
ive never heard of anyone going from fresh cut clone to flower, the plant will probly stress itself to death trying to grow roots while its also switching over from veg mode to flower mode.

Yes. that 1 ft of height, is that above the 'pot' and below the light? or 1 foot for the pot/clone and light? if it is the first, by all meens, as soon as there are roots, 12/12, top it and, if you have small hands maybe scrog it or train it horizontally somehow. and hopeing that it is some kind of pure indica strain. If is a total of 1 foot for all, that might give you 6" max for the grow. It can be done but with not much yield..

I would run more than one clone in there, maybe 6 of them setup like a six pack and flip them as soon as they root.

that is a N.l clone in their right now

I put the cutting i took today and put it under 1 6500k cfl

I will take more cuttings tomorrow

I think you'll be alright with a foot of height, more than 1 clone is a very good idea. Hey, is that a microwave you're doing it in? go slow, be patient. <very hard to do initially.

When I grow a SOG, Sea of Green, as soon as the clones have roots they are put on to 12/12. The only veg time they get is waiting for roots to form.

To sex my plants I take a unrooted clone an put it in my flower room. And from my experience of doing this, those clone will flower but they never get any bigger by the time they sex and show roots.

I would have to agree with eveyone else, flip and train as soon as you have roots.

No its not a microwave , its an old tv stand

But as far as kitchen appliances goes i am working on converting my old dishwasher into a stealth cab

their still alot to be done but i have that clone in it right now under a cfl lol

No my friend, I separate them and put them in to an ebb/flow tray filled with hydroton, at 4 per sq/ft SOG style.

LIKE THIS, 36 OF THEM, 3X3 EBB/FLOW TABLE, 1000W

EACH ONE GROWS INTO A SINGLE COLA LIKE THIS, ALL THE ROOTS INTERMINGLED, NO DRAMAS

Not yet ,

Im waiting for them to take root ,

I have them in cups of water with neoprene lids holding them up

I believe their close to rooting , a couple has those little white bumps on them where it looks likes roots will come out but their just not actually completely out yet

In all they do not seem to be doing good , the leaves are starting to turn yellow and their have been a few leaves that have died off

Im hoping the roots will hurry and come through those little white bumps so i can put them in some soil and feed them

Their is 1 clone that has a single root coming out of it , is it ok to put it in soil now

Will it be ok if i cut off some of the stem underneath the root where their are not roots forming yet or should i leave it as it is ?

Their is also another one that the white bumps are starting to form little spikes , will that be ok for soil now also or should i wait for the root to fully form ?

Give them time, more roots required.....patience is required in cloning.
