Try flushing 2 weeks prior to harvest and only water. Did you cure your buds?

They are curing now, I have 2 AI's that was ferted a few days ago and they will be ready to cut in a few days, the soil is still wet, should i flush anyway, since root rot is not a big concern, since they are coming down soon anyway?

If you ferted them :yoinks: a few days ago they ain't gonna be ready to cut in a few days you got at least 2 weeks if you flush them today.

flush, then put them in dark till they totally dry up and have taken in all the fresh water, then cut.. That should do it for you..

If you are concerend about the trichome colors, you can consider harvesting half before the flush.

4iiiiz's, I have found people mean many things when they say flush.. I have found that in soil just using regular filtered water for the last two weeks, and watering each time as I always do, till there is some run-off, is the flush that I am talking about..

Others some times mention putting in like 3x's the amount of water that the pot can hold, for example if using a 3gallon container, flush with 9 gallons of water.. This type of flushing is a technique mostly used when a plant has serious problems, mostly done in veg. I have never had to do anything like this so all I know is what I have read.

Hope this clears some confusion up.

I wouldn't sweat it, I've done the same :badday:, there's little you can do but give it an extra couple of days with plain water, next time start earlier.

I was using PBPro and though they had more flowering to do....fed them 1 day from the real harvest date.
PBPro is not 100% organic, it's about half organic so you can flush most of it out of the soil.
To a certain degree flushing is also the act of running alot of water through a plants substrate to remove salts or excess ferts and it actually shocks the plant as a soil without elements except water affects the osmotic pressure in the rootzone.
If you want to starve a plant for the best taste then it has to be done over time by slowly reducing nutes so that the plants starts canabalizing it's fan leaves, then when that happens your sure it's spent, this shouldn't happen too early though, leaves should be pale green at harvest.

As to not flushing organics I agree that they typically need not be flushed but not because we can't, mostly because they only ammendments left to feed the plant at this stage are the slow release elements that only create trace amounts of usable ferts over a long periode of time (greensand for example), organics in my mind mean using the minimum amount of natural ferts.
