sorted my scrog out today. bought a parabloic and a new 1000w bulb for the grow.
also decided to fook the topspin dripper off and make my own dripper ring, worked great b4.
lowered the screen and pulled all branches under, gunna give a couple more days to fill a few bare spots then switch. gone back to H+G nutes too.should hopefully be no more ph/deff probs. not sure how the canoppy will look after stretch with 6 diff strains but ill do mi best, happy days. this will be last of the small tent grows in this room,new bigger groom soon come.

bloody pain in the arse (literally) lol putting the parapolic together. sat on the floor bout an hour n half, yeh i got my mrs as cleaner, or ide be a scruffy git too you know wot, i aint got a meter but i may just get one, very noticeble difference. thanks for askin

I never used a meter myself but a few months ago my mate asked my if I wanted to borrow one just to see.

I was gobsmacked to see how inefficient my footprints were using traditional standard reflectors, places I thought would be ok were almost dead... now I have a system where I change the light to hang the other way every other day.. when it's cooler I'll hang a 250 across the "back" of the footprint .. but I've been looking at these parabolics ever since...


Looking at yours, it's hard to see where the light wouldn't reach eh...

Hang it upside down from the top of your tent/room with bungee cords attached to the feet.

no can do with these piff im afraid. was told they switch off when not up,rite. safety feature. im gunna hacksaw the feet off(maybe) and drill a couple holes in the top corners and use tiewraps to attach bungis.

yeh im eager to see if i do better with the parabolic and 1000w as apposed to the other grow with 2 600,s in adjusta,s,
ill be happy if i get results like this with a 1000w in an adjustawing. drip to waist this time rather than autopots so im hoping they do better.all depends on how all the strains do overall

Hey there guys, sorry if this is irrelevant to the thread, however i went down to the shop earlier to ask about the gold label roots.
The geeza in the shop told me it does come from the same manufacturer, however he reckoned gold label roots is a different recipe from what H&G use. While i was there he also said that in his opinion that when they move to the US the recipe might not be the same as it was before, due to the regulations over there, regarding what they can and cant use in the manufacturing process, or something along those lines.
However dont take my word for it guys, for all i know the geeza in the shop could of been talking shit to me, i just thought i would chime in here and see what you guys reckon

cool, its funny cuz i was at my mates store yesterday and he had sold out of both but has just got the full botanicare range in so i took a litre of rhizo blast, i was told this is on another level to both the others. i mean he would say that lol but ive done a little digging and growers on another place was rating it over roots excell. we will see.

yeh mate a little runoff is good. time how long it takes to get a little runoff and increase feeds to there needs, i start with 1 feed per day vegging, 2 feeds start of bloom and 3 week 5 onwards. give or take temp dependent

p.s can i ask how big of a res would i need to catch run off under the tray i will be using 9 x 6.5ltr pots for flower with coco thanks Madlabscientist...

i use a 30ltr plastic storage type box to catch the runoff. i empty i at every visit, 3 or 4 days and its never more than half full.

vertzontal...but i ended up buying a northstar reflector its cheap but i will buy a parabloic

Yeah my bad i meant the brightside cut you got off english rick in the exodus psychosis thread.
Right now im runnin 9 plants in 6.5L pots in a 60cm x 60m tent. Ive been using canes to help tie everything down. I dont think i could bring myself to do 1 plant scrog, i need some variety.
At my other spot ive got a 2mx2m tent with 4 600's, 25 plants in 11l pots. I do the same there with the canes and tie everything down. The only reason i dont run a scrog screen is i like to be able to get to everything and be able to move each plant about.
Any advice is much appreciated, im always interested in ways i can improve things. Thanks

cool. funny tho i cant remember saying i got a cut "off" him? dont even know him. a cut was traced back to him through 3 growers. either way cheese is cheese, got too much to run b4 they get a spot, ide love to see yr pics if i aint already. doesnt sound like you need any advice from a scroger then.
