The bud i tasted had a pineapple taste but i could detect a cheesy taste and smell too. Bang on description herbalizor. Many thanks. I think i might have this cut. Looking forward to her flowering out.

Heres my SLH cut, what you reckon does it look similiar? Kinda hard to tell because shes still small right now.

Where are you guys getting these cuts, I was complaining I can only get cheese or lemon cuts a couple of weeks back on this thread. Guess what? For the past week I've been trying to get hold of just 3 clones for my tent and can't find any anywhere... Not even cheese. Pissed because I had a pack of northern lights beans that were none starters then I got some replacements sent from Holland and apparently they have gone missing on route to the UK. I'm gutted

I've asked and today I've been offered some. It's difficult because I live in a small town and its difficult to approach people that would have cuts because they are mostly commercial and are a bit jumpy about that sort of thing. I don't live in a big town so not that many options.

hiya Hemp, hope you dont mind me asking, but you got any hints and tips for rooting cuttings? kinda having a hard time trying to root, and keep them alive.

bubble your tapwater (if its soft, if not distilled bottled. ) for 24hrs or let it sit for 48 before using it, ph coco pellets to 6, no need for peat jiffys. hard and chlorinated water make it hard for cuts to root, thats my simple key to 99/100% strike rate. makes a big difference. dont keep lifting the lid to spray them, i just take cuts, stick em in the propagator and let them do there thing and 10 days later roots. feed your mother atleast 3 hours b4 taking your cuts. i use the 2x1 ft enviro light, 4 bars, i twist to turn off 2 tubes for rooting cuts then all 4 tubes for vegging starter pots. too much light will hinder fast rooting. imho anyway. hope that helps

is it just my lazy ass who struggles with root riot cubes?
I keep finding they tend to dry out sometimes way too fast, and im loosing cuts all of a sudden.
your cuts look well healthy. Lately mine are coming out looking like some newbie (me) has taken some shady ass snips, lol
once i take the prop lid off, a few days later my root riots are turning to a cement like state lol

yeh thats why i dont use em. you could use a layer of perlite in the bottom of the prop and pour a cup of ph,d water over them before sitting your root riot tray on em, that will keep them moist, capillary matting is good too. always take a third more cuts than you need to pick the faster rooting ones. i take double.

think im going to try with a new rooting media. hoping clonex gel is ok though?

The feeding the mother first thing makes so much sense. Ill try that next time i take cuts, im a newbie at it too so i appreciate your advice as well hemp, cheers mate
Remember, pH pens are totally, dangerously useless, unless calibrated... They don't magically read correct, you must "zero" them with a calibration solution.... And check regularly, and follow religiously the instructions on care for the pen.
he not wrong, I have one that I use just to check that the one I just calibrated is reading true...really.. lol

12 days since cut from mother, lower light levels let the clones root out of there jiffy,s and perfect for pot up.

heath robs chiesel
cherry ak (pre96)
pre2k blueberry
black russian (nebu)
G skunk
mothers ready for a trim too.
enjoy the rest of your day.
