I would go through the side wall f possible.
Thinking the the intake up from the ground would bring more of a chance to get bugs and dust ?

The lower the better... if its outdoors a side wall might be best.
You can cover the intake opening with cheese cloth, or better yet make a box and stick a random hepa filter in it.
If I were you I'd be asking about the exhaust fan... as it is more important overall. Its how you control smell, remove humidity and bring in fresh air for the ladies.

my reflector is a sun systems 2(yield master2) with 2 4" holes(will be aircooled)
my room size is 4x4x7=112x3=336 cfm partitioned an outside shed
system is dwc

mother/clone room
my exhaust fan is a nutone 210 cfm 6" hole
my lights are 4 t12s 40w each
my room size is 3x3x7=63x3=189cfm partitioned an outside shed
system is dwc

i also have a co2 system not sure about using it yet.
nutone 50 cfm

if my exhaust hole is 4" should my intake be 2 4" inch holes?
what about air restriction from the intake register? should i add another hole to compensate for the restriction?
