Just wondering what everyone's favorite material is for intake filter? Must not restrict airflow much, as temps are perfect without any on. They need to be on the PVC traps, to keep clean environment. What works best for everyone?

I use the "pre-filter" material from can filters that have been tossed out due to old age. I just use soap and water to wash them off and they're good as new. They're even made to filter dust and other large particles without too much resistance. Even a small can filter will give you lots of 8" or 12" round cut outs that fit over typical intakes.

Of course, if you want to trap more than dust balls and things like that, you need a HEPA filter. Most hydro stores have them. They look like car filters but they're HEPA rated and they work very well. They are made to fit on 4", 6", 8" or 10" intakes and they lat pretty much forever.
