You guys remember the thread about the guy paying $2,000 for his first GT-R oil change?

My buddy worked (until recently arrested) at a dealership. The oil change at his was $1,700.

The real shocker though are the prices for brake pads and tires. I told him about the oil change cost the other day and then he told me about the tires and brakes....

$3,600 for all pads.
$900~ per tire.

I forget what brand the tires are, I want to say Pirelli, but he said these were specifically designed for the GT-R, because it can pull 2G's through corners, normal tires would apparently be ripped off or ripped in half? I would try bead locks :p
