I've been doing this for 20 years, all indoors, all in south Florida, in a tent, mix of HID lighting and NOW 400w LED in a 2'x4' tent. Using simple PPK w Turface media, Jacks+Ca @ 600PPMS.
I've run a seed thru to harvest (OC5) and it looked great but only produced 3.5oz.
I usually get from other strains, 6-9oz which I was always happy with.
Her leaves looked 'hybrid' but somewhat sativa looking and she didn't grow tall. Kept waiting for the stretch which didn't really get much taller.
A month ago I gave a rooted OC5 clone to a friend along with a quart of NOVA Bloom and a formula for it.
She plopped that clone (there were 2 others, both look 'better' too) in a 5 gallon bucket but outside where it gets 9+ hours of direct sunlight, 25 days ago, April 1. I went there yesterday for moral support and to see progress. OC5, which is still a stout plant, has leaves that are very slim sativa looking leaves and is already budding nicely, terps are very strong. In 25 days in April
I wasn't expecting any buddage activity my comment to her was that 'they look better than anything I've ever grown'.
But how can they be blooming already?
