Actually, I didn't compare them at all--I compared the unreasonable hate that was given to both-- Unreasonable because it was just "Different" than what the "Norm" was-- You put the comparison there it seems as a platform to jump up and shout a bit--

anyways as far as respect goes, to be perfectly honest, your statements havent actually influenced my opinion of you as a person what soever. i guess it was more of a way to express my feelings towards these asshats that call themselves juggalos, paint their faces up and destroy others property for no good god damn reason.
bottom line is this music is for junior high students. and theres actually people out there devoting their lives to these nonsensical lyrics. pretty sad in my opinion.

As far as why I brought up the Beatles...they were kinda the first to bring (To America) that kind of Rock n Roll-- John was "Crucified" for an off the cuff comment (More popular than Jesus)...and they had a great deal of opposition from the "Old School"-- I see personal preferences in music as something to be respected...not hated--
I am 49 years old...so I have seen my share of this, and I prefer to have a "Live and let live" stance when it comes to music...and also with Personal Freedoms, like Lifestyle--

Many, many people have had much worse parents and managed to live a happy fulfilling life. There are kids who have been beaten and raped by one or both of their parents and made it to adulthood as productive, responsible citizens. Saying someone you have never met is an unfit parent due to their choice of music, clothes and the drugs they take is nothing short of ridiculous. You've either lived a very sheltered life and not met many good people from bad backgrounds or are just pig ignorant. I knew someone raised to a decent standard (far from perfect maybe) by a mother with heroin addiction. Ask someone with a f'd up childhood if they wished they had died at birth....

Well I think some people are Barking up the wrong tree here. I think that most of these Kids are trying to find themselves, to say they are wrong is not right.
