ingestion

Ok, so i've been trying to figure this one out for a minute now(how to ingest cannabis most efficiently) aanndd, logic to the rescue :D. Anywho, cannabinoids are not water soluble, they are lipid(fat) soluble, so in order for our bodies to utilize them they need to be dissolved in a lipid(solute=cannabinoids, solvent=lipid). This would be just like any "fat" soluble vitamin such as E, which needs to be in an "oil" for our bodies to utilize.

Anywho, what am i doing here? This is just my theory, i didn't search for this anywhere, so i am checking my understanding, does this idea seem to be kosher?? aka, if i put some canna-honey in oil, let it disperse, i should be able to consume it and get desired affects correct??

(ok.. i did some searching and this seeeems to be the case, i just want to check my understanding)

Also, aanndd i'm not so sure about this one, but lets say we grind up some bud real fine like, maybe use a mortor and pestle or something, or just some real dry bud. Adding the crushed product to oil should have the same effects as canna-honey correct? or would it have to be extracted from the plant matter first??

thank you, and i don't mean to be rude, but, if you read my first post, i said i had done searching, i don't need more research(and i understand the chemistry well enough), i would like actual input, testimonials if you will..

Yes, lipids are the quickest, and most complete delivery mechanism, but it's not "necessary" for you to experience the effects.

Try eating a bud or two, chew em up, and send em on down.. you'll get high.

Damn for the longest time i thought it had to be "activated" to get you high from cooking it or what not.....

Not really, since the thc inside the trichomes is already in an oil form. It's not as effective, and slower, but it does work.
