info to buy new strain

Lbh seems to have some reallynice genetics... Rcmc distribute some really interesting strains too... Or maybe check nordenseeds... Ns ak47 is the only one i have experience from, yet.
Yielded 50-75gr/plant indoor but the high from some phenos was too heavy/overwhelming for my taste. Others were perfect clarity-high. :)
What high-characteristics are you looking for?

Google n' read some, and return with a more specified question. :)

A 200-250gr AF outdoor will be something to chase after.. I would love to hear if you find one, but i never geard anything close to it.. Or.. Think different had a / yield on 120gr in south spain(?). There is a small entry about in a few pages into the af-foruma. (Im on a phone, rather impossible to search, find, copy and so on, sry.)

What latitude are you at?

There is some earlys that should give you those numbers youre looking for I guess.. If ure lat allows it.. Eg. Mighty mite.. Check out rcmc, youll find what ure looking for there I think..

Best of luck! Please keep me/us updated how you progress! :)

Be aware of that the information the seed-breeders use is most probably created under perfect conditions, heavy yielding pheno, maxed nutes etc.

(Just trying to get info out there so you wont be dissapointed when the company says 200gr and u get 40... ) :)

Regular plants, and earlys will work in italy if youre not cursed with rainy weather (late-season risk of mold)

You're asking a lot of an auto plant. Some autos do get that large, but not outside. Why don't you grow a photoperiod plant or just grow more than one auto at a time if you're looking for yield? Why just one giant auto?

for me but i have never done outdoor

my largest 2 plants have been

rqs auto nl
g13 diesel
not the highest on the potency scale though
over 4oz+ per plant is possible with each strain

I like Kannabia, Sweet seed, super autos. SGS is awesome, too! Yield isn't the only thing. Have had incredible results w/ plants not exceeding 16"-18"...branchy and po-tent!

I agree w/ Mr Jay-
There's some great photoperiods, indica hybrids, that can be harvested in 3 months!! Or plant in 5-7 gallon bucket....doesn't become a cell phone tower of exposure!

So why does the auto have to be big? Why not just grow more medium sized ones to make up for it? I've had good luck with MI5 outside. For the largest outdoor autos LBH has awesome gear. It takes longer than regular autos but it's worth it.

Also, don't just rush into growing and expect great results. Take your time to research what you really need for your circumstances.

Honest question whats the attraction to autos? They dont seem worth it. A neighbor put out a bunch of sour 60 and some ryder cross a few years ago and wasted a lot of time and money. Dont see the point myself but maybe someone has a diff perspective

Siro, depending on your conditions it can be convenient with autos..
Eg. to drop veg/mother-room and only grow from seed.

Could you define "worth it".
Is that gpw, %thc or what are you looking for?
Nowdays you can find all kinds of high in the autos.. And thc up to 20%..

To me autos is the only way to grow something outdoors.. And I can see that it could work in a perpetual vertscrog..
Not that im into it... But the tought about it is somewhat interesting.. :)

If your neighbor had done his research he would know sour 60 performs much better indoors. He would also know that autos need different growth conditions and nutrient applications that photo period plants which means most people who grow them without doing their homework stunt them.

Lowryder is a notoriously low potency plant, but that's what happens with a lot of first generation autos. Breeding has taken them very far in the past few years, their short life cycle has helped.

Now most of the lowryder has been bred out of autos and the only thing left is the autoflowering trait.

Tell your buddy to look into some dutch passion autos like think different or some LBH gear if he wants to be able to run 120 day tropical sativas outdoors in a temperate environment like northern america or canada.

Hell, you could also tell him that autos and LED lights are a match made in heaven. Grow an auto indoors with the proper technique and you expose them to 18-20 hours of light a day while budding. This adds up to WAY more light over their flowering period, which can lead up to days more worth of light time and bud development. I have seen 6oz Mi5 plants grown in soil under t-5 lights and a member on another site (sorry, no links allowed. Use google if you must see it) just finished growing a 10.2 oz Blue Himalayan diesel in DWC. Did I mention it only took 70 something days?

There's a lot of birds up in the air around where I live but I can pull two rounds of autos out before they even start fueling up. Hell, in late season when I'm working on a third or fourth round of autos they just plain miss them. Too busy looking for other people's bruisers.

Some people just like the novelty of growing little plants in a dresser cab. It's how I started and i still get a kick out of growing cute little autos even though I also grow photos. Unlike a lot of people on both sides of the debate I don't find the two mutually exclusive.

So, those are just a few of the reasons I like autos.
