indoor sea of green growing with 400w/30 plants

final dry weights:
300g bushmans
25g santa maria
5g euforia
2g durga mata
15g white widdow
________
347g
nearly 1g/w.
now the smokereports:
bushmans: very nice to smoke, smooth, very nice taste, like fruits, the high is nearly only in the head. very nice sativa high up high.
santa maria: the taste and odor is very sweet, almost like lemons. the high is as the bushmans very up high. i really like it.
ww: really frosty, the odor and taste is very herb and strong. as is the turn. not something to smoke after getting up in the morning, better before sleeping hehe
so i hope you enjoyed my report

Great grow. That indoor flowerbed SOG is really cool. I would try it myself if the laws in here weren't so strict on the plant numbers.

here is my brand new grow
as every grow, i change some things because of expierence
so this grow, i dont use any tekus, i use one big garden
it is the soma growing: (this is german text sry)

so i only grow clones from my mother plants. there are 30 plants, 6 x 5.
24 x bushmans (herbaria)
2 x peacemaker (green house)
2 x santa maria / plank (1 selected by a local growshop, 1 by a friend years ago)
1 x chronic (selected by a local growshop)
1 x euforia (selected by a friend)
as medium i use soil
LOTS of soil
about 200l of soil, i grow on bio bizz all mix and i also got my nuts from bio bizz: bio grow, bloom, top max, alga c mic and atami pk13/14.
the plants will be on 18/6 for 2 more days, then i´ll switch to 12/12. the blue light (philips hps-t plus MH) will be replaced on the 14 day of 12/12 by a red spectrum.
the goal is to increase the yield over to 1g/w
hope you will post a lot, as it very sad to make a lot of work for nothing (you see my mother language isnt english, so its not that easy for me to translate everything to english).

I am re-creating this soma style soil bed for a SOG if anybody could put an educated guess as to what the 4 tubes are for, I may get in touch with soma and try to get some answers. I think its to add oxygen to the under bed but maybe to pull excess runoff from irrigation? Maybe, its all concept and theory but I am using this as my blue print.
I remembered this exact grow from years past and researched it, only to be reminded of the German language barrier and small pics I cant read in this link http://www.grow.de/Archiv/Magazine/04-03/soma/SOMA.htm
I don’t ask for full interpretation just the mechanics of the tubes and why the link shows 2 thick layers of fabric while dRbreiTOr gets away with one thin layer. I remember something about this layer of fabric must be a water permeable/ root impermeable barrier. Does this method require careful irrigation so not to over water (no drain to waist option) or is their some way for the excess to come up threw the tubes?
