Indoor commercially viable Ace strains

Hi Red October, what's the max flowering time that are you considering and what kind of finished product do you want to get ?
We have indeed very solid strains that finish in just 8 weeks or so, but there's plenty more and better to choose with up to 12 weeks of flowering that will yield the double than the 8 week finishers, with better quality and appeal too.

Hey Dubi, the 8-9 week flowering time is always the preferred time limit but if the output matches the extra time allowance for flowering but has an improved experience and bud quality I'll be happy with that. The main factor is more for the consumers having density and terp quality that they can relate too.

I like the Bubba Kush x Nepal jam as it's a nice functional yet reasonably long lasting high but I do want something that has a more narcotic/stronger type effect as that's a factor to consider because of current tastes. I prefer growing sog style and like to achieve a minimum of 8g per month of flowering per plant flowered at between 20-30cm in a 5 litre pot as long as the quality is there, anything above that is just extra icing on the cake, so not the biggest yeilding but it has to be on the good side of medium.

The Malawi x pck can produce really nice looking bud from the pictures I've seen and with it being a strong purple plant that is also a good marketable trait.

dubi I don't mean to be a bother, I am very inclined to get the C5xKC as suggested in the thread unless you have a better recommendation for me look at, you have the best experience with your strains so I am very inclined to hear what you have to say.

I know it's a bit of a tall order as most of what you offer is effects based and this is also what I prefer but in an immature market as I am in I need to concentrate on the most marketable aspects, even if that means effects take a bit of a back seat.

Here's a pic from the last grow, I can't remember if it was a bk x np or a hashfruit plant as they were pretty much all covered in this much crystal. I'm thinking more a hashfruit plant due to the purpling.

There are several, but it all depends on your idea of “commercial” time frames for flowering.
Down here getting anyone to flower anything beyond 52 days you’d think I asked them to make margaritas with their first born kids left leg.

Kali China, Nepjam x Kalichina, zamaldelica x Kali China, all of mine have been done in 8-9 weeks and put most commercial to shame.
Panama for sure would be another great one for commercial runs.

I'm not too concerned about the flowering time really as long as production can keep to my minimum need. Having a 3 foot tall plant produce 16g with a two month flowering window is pretty low but I'll be happy with that as long as it has an affect I appreciate and doesn't suffer from tolerance issues.

I'm a bit wary of the Kali China crosses as my experience with Thai chi plants I ran all had very quick tolerance problems, they were all early flowering phenos and I had one that turned slightly purple in mid summer with an extremely powerful dissociative psychedelic high but it was a once off high that I couldn't achieve again even if I refrained from using it. The C5 x kc appears to have the criteria I'm looking for so I'll run it and hopefully I find something good.

I love the BBK x Nepal jam cross, it's not the strongest but it has a very nice euphoric and motivational effect with a long lasting fizzy sherbet taste, it's become my favourite out of what I've run so far and will be grown out extensively.

Check the R+D section at ACE and you should find a Bubba Kush x Malawi at the bottom of the list, plus if you search the forum for ”Bubblawi” there is a thread. You would find it interesting, I read it some time ago and was reminded.

I would suggest you place your order with Mandala seeds instead, they have just put some of ACE seeds R+D work up on their shop. I did not see the Bubba x Malawi but you can just send them an email and they will help you out.

You can't go wrong with Malawi x PCK Red October this F1 has it all to please both commercial growers and end users: vigor, yield, mold and pest resistance, high resin production, potency, loud complex terpenes, potent and long lasting complex effects, short-moderate flowering times, great branching, bag appeal, clones easily, .... not a single weak point. A textbook sativa/indica F1 hybrid with great frequency of remarkable to outstanding plants. Bubba Kush x Old Malawi Killer from our R+D is also a good one if you are looking for another solid sativa/indica F1. If you are looking for something more sativa then Panama x Bangi Haze or Malawi x Panama fem are dynamite, extermely potent, high yielding and high quality, well worth the wait of 11 weeks of flowering.

Thanks for that dubi , it does seem to be one of the more viable options and I'm hoping with the Malawi influence even the purple ones will have an endless effect. Hopefully the Bubba Kush x Malawi will get moved into your catalogue and I'll try some too, the Bubba Kush you use is strong from what I can tell with the Nepal jam x Bubba seeds I grew out, not super narcotic but has a solid long lasting punch.
