Indica Percentage and It's affect on Mostly Sativa Strains

Sounds like a nice cross. Is Refermans Columbian gold a hybrid? Love Potion was pretty good. I grew it back in 2010 or so. from clone.
No clue if it's a hybrid - as far as I know, it was collected in Colombia, but could have been hybridized down there. The males all had the same morphology, so I am reasonably confident that if it is a hybrid, it is a fairly stable one. I could only be able to tell if I had gotten a female to make f2's with and compare the offspring

The most important thing in weed is the effect.

Breeding without selecting by effects is not breeding, that's just crossing. That's why the % sativa means nothing at all after the 1st generation. If you cross and select for sativa effects, sativa features, sativa tastes, you get them. But it takes time.

After generations, you could say you have a plant that is mainly sativa, but you still know that it carries some genes from Indica plants that helped with resin production and maturation time, but do not affect the effect of the weed much.

If you get a plant made with sativa leaning strains that grows like a sativa, produces not so much like a sativa, needs quite a lot of time like a sativa, but it feels like an indica when you smoke it, you are doing something wrong. The other way around wouldn't be bad though.

Pure nld cannabis is a completely different experience from any hybrid or bld cannabis.

The smallest introduction of bld to nld and the experience starts to “cloud up” is the only way I can put it.

You know that other than pure landraces, all sativas out there are mixed, don't you? Once you get trichomes over the leaves, that's a genetic characteristic coming from hashplants, that isn't a pure sativa anymore.

Landraces aren't worth the time for me. They just don't hit. Plenty of experience with them years along.

These are the sativas I like. The ones that hit hard in the head, but not in the body.

The nld only guys smoke nothing else. They say the hybrids are so high in cannabinoids that smoking nld after is futile.

Its not my thing either, but you’re right it’s only hard to find landraces that aren’t hybridized now.

Most of it looks like ditch weed, and yet they go nuts over it.

Everyone smokes what they please, and that's good. I smoke sativas from 1st thing in the morning and if I smoked pure unmixed landrace weed I'd finish with my throat destroyed and just not enough high.

This is one of the plants I like to smoke. Since I've bred and selected it, I know there are foreign genes because of the bud building and resin content, and it still is more NLDed than most. So not everything depends on the leaves shape, or the % sativa indica ratio. This one has been selected for its very energetic effect in the head, but it would be too much for some people and would probably get a landrace smoker disoriented.

Also, it is NOT a common hybrid as these NLD could generalize. It has been bred with much better weeds (by its effect) than any other commercial or not hybrid that I know.
