so whats it going to be:
dynagro -grow /veg
dynagro -bloom
------or
dynagro - foliage pro /veg
dynagro - bloom
------what about
dynagro- FP or grow /veg
Maxibloom -dry /flower

I found the best result for me as two-part nutrient of Pro-Tekt and GROW 7-9-5 all the way from veg to harvest. its more easy for me...now I just got Foliage Pro, i will try like Pro-Tekt and FP for veg then switch to Pro tekt and GROW for flowering. last two weeks of flowering I will use BLOOM only.

Hey HB...

Thanks for the heads up on the 50/50 or 30/70 grow to bloom ratio...I for one am not adverse to having to create a "2 part" instead of a "1 part"...I have no patience for imbalances though. When I ran the DynaGro Bloom alone I had definite N deficiencies...!!?
Dropped it like a rock. Back to old reliable GH 3 part!

I will try one of my res with the "new" mix and check it out. I would recommend others try this as well. It's not really a "1 part" as I have experienced it...but as I said, don't care. Just want results!!

Thanks again.

Anyone know of a online place so a guy can get this stuff in Canada? Preferably a place where they dont charge such crazy shipping prices to canada its makes it not worth buying.

Feed bloom only during flower and let the leaves yellow and drop the last few weeks of flowering. If you want to keep it greener for whatever reason you can give a couple light feedings of grow during flowering. Feed according to the label, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per gallon. I like 1/3 teaspoon. Don't use the other supplements like mag pro during flowering unless your plants give an indication that they need them.

I've used dynagro for years. Reading back through the comments in this thread and it seems there is some question on which dynagro veg formula to go with. From what I've experienced the proper NPK ratios seem to be strain dependent. Some strains I've grown keep a stable pH on dynagro's 7-9-5 grow formula while others run into pH problems. When I switch these finicky plants over to a low phophorus fertilizer they do fine and the pH stabilizes. I haven't gotten a chance to try the foliage pro 9-3-6 or hi N pro 10-5-5 but I imagine they would work great on the strains that don't tolerate the 7-9-5. I think it's all about finding what NPK balance your particular strain needs. All strains I've grown seem to like dynagro's bloom formula.

dynagro is not like other nutes. i wouldnt go over .8 ec in veg and 1.2 in flower. if you are running one strain you can push em but for a good overall feeding for a lot of strains the above works great. just flush every couple of weeks and add bacteria and molases early on and your gonna be very happy!

Hey Cannabomber,
Loving this thread - subbed.
I too would be interested in a UK supplier of Dyna Grow. Your comment about 'quality' nutes being of importance rings loud and true to me.
Have you had any experience with other methods of stimulating trich growth and the cascade of VOC's? Like Gibb & Chitosan spraying?
I have a real interest in this field and have tried a little 'mechanical wounding' to elicit this response. However, I also know that too much of any type of stress can hermie my crop & I can't afford to lose it. So I was hoping someone else had tried this approach before and could share their experiences?
Great thread brother -happy growing :tiphat:

Blazedgeek is right on the money. HB has done numerous side by sides (not sure if they're on RIU as well) with dynagro after a fellow member suggested he try it out. DG blew away AN, outperformed GH enough to cause him to switch in the first place and held its own against H&G with better buffering in hydro.

He also went on to do a comparison grow with DG's 7-9-5 vs the Foliage Pro 9-3-6 to test the high Phosphorus claims during flower. FP yielded 10% more than the food with three times the P.

It should be noted that HB has his room dialed in, is familiar with his strains and has a vested interest in producing quality smoke; he's not getting paid by anyone other than his patients.
