Gotta get a carbon filter Y!

I was just looking at your thread and if im not mistaken you are trying to run 3400 watts in your flower room. By the time those ladies get 2 weeks into flower everyone on your block is gonna smell pot and be wondering who is growing, so i say get that Carbon Filter FAST!!!

I would say maybe a can100 or can 125 coupled with a vortex 10"-12" inline fan. That will move between 800 and 1100 cfm of totally safe (non-stinky) air out of your chimney.

These huge fans are big and loud but having all of your exhaust scrubbed will save you huge in peace of mind. Hope this all works out for ya, any more questions holler at me!

deffinatily get a can type packed bed filter and a fan just for filter on a grow that big.its an investment but one that will pay off in the long run. nice pics and i love the air going up the chimney idea. find sq footage of room and find one that will change the air out every 5 min.
be safe

depending on environment, you can mount it two ways.

First is just to put it in the room and recycle the air w/o exhausting. This would be the goal if the room has A/C or CO2 or anything else you dont want to vent out. Simply put the fan on top of the filter and attach it, usually using a couple self tapping screws. You could leave the filter on the floor or hang it from the ceiling using chains. You want the filter pulling air through the filter or sucking it, not pushing through.

The second and seems like the way you want it, is to exhaust the air out. Same thing, mount the fan to the filter pulling air through it. The Can filters have a flange that mounts to the filter, and you mount the fan to the flange. I am not sure how your filter works, but is probably the same thing. Then just duct it out your chimmney.

If you want to hang it, just use some good size eye bolts, screw to rafters/joists/ wood overhead and use chains to hang the filter/

hah ya man ... you say you have a pretty decent sized grow, shit, thats pretty dam big if you ask me and you have 2 rooms on top of it haha. You sure seem to be dishing out the money for these rooms :p Well im sure thats not a problem though hehe. Gota do it right the first time though, saves a lot in the end.

Not really the case in Micro grows though, thats what im into :p Constant tweaking here and there, :p just to pull out a couple 10 or so more grams every new grow :p

if your venting out a chimney why not just build a small shelf about 4 feet up the chimney and stick an ozone generator and/or a vaportech on it on full blast. i know those two items are bad if you have to breath the air but if your venting it up and out a chimeny that would be my option, the ozone will kill any smell and just in case the vaportech will mask it. I guess my advice is too late, never worked with a carbon scrubber myself so i can't help further.
