Imported (Moroccan, Afghani, Nepalase) Hash photo's and discussion....

M

Mr. Mountain

Damn, you Europeans make me JEALOUS. I haven't seen fine import hashish in the states since the late 90's. And it wasn't all that "fine"

I have to make my own hash/oils don't get me wrong it's great. But I really long for that awesome import hashish taste.

I'm always looking for different materials to turn into oil. That looks like some awesome starting material!

I hope you all enjoy!

Mr. M

I allways smoke it in joints. No matter how sticky your hash is you can put it into small pieces. very easy

Delighted to be back home :)

Here, some great quality hashish in 100gr. slabs from Morocco. Great smell, it smells strong and pure and the high is like a hammer hit in your brain, this hashish is not coming from kiff resin but from resin of comercial seeds that morrocan people have been growing during the last years...Jardallah or whatever...the point is that i feel this hashish ten times more psychoactive than the kiff made.

I will try to make some close up pictures to show the resin..the quality of this picture is shit..mobile made..

Salud!

I just had the same looking bars with an 8 from marocco too, this hash was kind of hard at regular temp but after keeping it safely in my crotch for a few minutes it got all soft very very soft not like the average soap bar it was a nice surprise usually I go more for the yellowish hashes but this one really had a nice taste

I have scored a few times this kind of stuff, they call it "Sem" here (means "poison" or something). Last time I had some, it kicked in very strongly from the first puff, +ending up with a debilitating, knocking off effect. Way stronger than moroccan hash made from local plants, but certainly not better in my opinion. This stuff has no soul...

Thanks for adding more info Mriko.

Don´t you think that the quality of the resin from local plants has been falling in recent years? Don´t you think the overexploitation and bad uses made by moroccan farmers have "hempyzed" the genetic background? I´d like to know your opinion on this matter.

I love real moroccan hashish aswell, but the point is that even in Morocco i can not see the same quality in Kif hashish than 10-15 years before, when the Chefchaouen balls fever (worked hashish bullets) began in Spain.

I made Water Hashish in Ketama in Christmas 2010, even though the hashish was good, it wasn´t so strong and so tasty as i thought and i expected before.
Nevertheless, along last 5 years the best hashish here in Spain have came from non-moroccan genes, i mean 8 out the 10 extraordinary samples i have seen were non local.

I think this is a very interesting issue to discuss about. But before all else, this is only my perception from somewhere in Spain. I dont know where the truth is hidding in all this situation about the moroccan genes in hashish in the current times.

Salud.

nice question and info you posted.
some pics in order to illustrate this. I scored some balls of this so called mexicana last december. strong and spicy flavor, there´s no sweet tones anywhere of this hash. Definitively it didnt come from Kiff plants.

Here's a few chunks off a nice 100g slab, straight from the source. From about 6,000ft in the Rif. I found many nice hashes, but wasn't trying to be snapping a lot of pictures. Great stuff in Fes and Tangier, as well, but this was a very special hashish. Pure Moroccan landrace.

I haven't smoked hash in probably around fifteen years now, and if I tried today it would probably put me down like a bat to the head, but I miss it a lot and MAN OH MAN do I enjoy looking at all these lovely pictures!!

I´ve found all kinds of good quality hash while in Morocco.
For all tastes and needs. I´ve found that my favorite ones, usually are not praised by the locals. I prefer fresh hash from sativa leaning plants, racy and energizing ;), while the locals prefer mellow stuff to chill under the trees while watching the weeds grow.
I like this stuff, Mexicana!

Paulo, I'm a bit jealous of your proximity to Morocco, with those cheap Ryan Air flights and all. You're absolutely right, there's something special about those sativa hashes. There are tons of great hybrid or Pakistani genetics to be found, but none are as unique as the true Moroccan. Even this seemed to vary quite a bit depending on elevation and location (Xauen or Ketama). The Moroccan landrace is most certainly a curious breed, and with the amount of wind-blown pollen in those mountains, seems a bit endangered these days. Que lastima. While maybe not the most potent of hashes in this day and age, pure Moroccan that has been well grown and processed produces the most enjoyable of highs- clear and energetic, but mind-expanding at the same time. What I wouldn't do to get a little m'hashishd with a pot of mint tea right now. This SD bubble and drip coffee will have to suffice in the mean time.

There's nothing like some proper fresh hashish, but in Fes, I came across some beautiful dark red taffy (turned into a beautiful cream) that was apparently freshly pressed, but made from resin that had been buried and cured for six months. Knocked my socks off. Tasted like deep rich cedar on a crisp spring day. Have you (or anyone else) ever come across anything like this?

I apologize for the bit of a rant, but this forum is like hashish therapy.
