Thanks all for your advice it is all appreciated, I know I need to man up and get a job but believe me I am trying I have applyed for over 15 jobs and not one even called me back because basicly every place does backround checks and when they see theft on someones record a job is not gonna happen, i have called alot of the places I applyed to check back in and all of them said it was because of my record. Im just playing it one day at a time.

Best thing to do if you have a record is to do construction. Or try to lower your standards for a job and build up some credit and then go for a better job and maybe they wont do a background check on you.

Hey'ya man. I understand ur problem completely and have been there before as well. My tip: learn a few trades. Go to a trade school and pick up whatever skills you like. But make sure it's something you really enjoy and that it has some value in the area you're living in. For example, if u're living in suburban Laos, I don't think a skill in harley davidson engine repair will help u that much, if u get my meaning. Pick a skill which has mass applications but is not saturated (i.e. so much competition that your profit is near 0).

If u know a trade, you can partner up w/ a few dudes doing something complementary. For example, in tyres, retredding and puncture repair are complementary. Also, cigarettes and lighters are complementary. Another example is car and tires. Shit like that. Or you can join a union which pays handsomely- almost at par w/ white collar jobs in the US. Or you can be your own boss, if you're willing to tug it out for a bit.

Most jobs, even corporate ones suck my goat's balls in terms of job satisfaction (at least for me). Look into this option and any criminal record won't even matter. Some ppl can "play the game" while for others, it's just way too much bullshit. A trade opens up opportunities and mastering a few shows u a much better, far more satisfying lifestyle.

Yo actually if you live in the US I really woudn't do what I just suggested. But if you live in Spain or Switzerland go for it.

If you are young enough I would save up enough scratch and provided you dont look like a career criminal and have been crime free since I would spend the dough to get a lawyer and get it expunged from your record. In the long run you'll make a lot more money than the expungement costs.

There are always construction jobs available..And they pay well if you focus and get the job done well and in time. I used to work in the construction field. VERY HARD work no doubt about it. So i said fuck it...saved some money and went off to college..to get a degree in gardening :D

Yo man -
Yeah its going to be hard for you... but life throws its hard times at us. It sounds like you could learn some things that can help you coast through this. For anti-anxiety, its good to lay off stimulants and exercise. Your getting the exercise, so try chilling out with the caffeine, and also maybe learning how to meditate.

The anxiety and depression will just make your whole situation worse than it probably is... so if you take care of that, then you can have a good head for everything else.

Good luck man.

JOBS,JOBS,JOBS.

JOBS,JOBS,JOBS.

I've have three jobs, fishing, clam digging and demolition , a degree from UCSD in American Lit. three kids and I'm still "broke". Boat payments, caterpillar payments, life payments.I should have found a better job with my degree but the human race and I tend to to disagree. Just keep on hammering away because for some reason things tend to happen, you never know whats around the corner.PEACE!!!MUCHA LUCHA!!! :yoinks:

Try furniture moving for awhile, these guys are right, they're always hiring and when you think you are done with the job and the trucks all packed up the old lady shows you the basement full of unpacked crap and cats!!Guarantee you could get a job moving furniture, I worked with plenty of ex-cons there and the pay was relatively fair but you better be strong or it'll crush you'PEACE!!MUCHA LUCHA!!!

You dont need weed to get by, you need money to get by! You should get your life straight and on the right track then get back on the weed so you can enjoy it properly, smoking isn't enjoyable when your life is miserable.

Since you already have the internet and a computer download all these messenging programs and meet creepy old perverted men online and pose to be a 13 year old girl.. Dude seriously, you can make so much money and get free stuff doing this. Get them to mail you money and cameras to a P.O box claiming you'll send them special pictures. Also get on webcam with them, take screenshots of what they look like and claim that you will send all the convos and pictures to the police if they don't send money to your P.O box.

Who feels guilty about scamming sick perverted bastards out of money? Your karma points will probably even go up after doing this.. Haha..

E, you could do fast food, it sucks but you'll be makin more money than you have now. Be REALLY aggressive when checking back for a job, I applied for a job at home depot a month ago and have been calling them EVERY day for a interview, finally got one next week.

Keep this in your mind bro, When your down in life theres really only one way to go and thats back up, sometimes it may take a while but always know that theres just one way to go when your down dude, up.

Hope that helps bro
