I am going through some crazy stuff lately. :fsu:
I'm 32 yrs old and the Dr.s' are telling me I have to have a full hysterectomy or deal with the pain of consistent ovarian cysts and mass fibroids in the walls of my uterus. They let me stew on it will ya, cuz I don't want to make some rash decision. Then they called as we were getting ready to leave to go home from our awesome vacation...They now say I also have very severe displaysia and now I have to go get a biopsy done. Please pray that this not cancerous or something. I'm trying not to be too freaked out but it is really very hard. I don't even have meds right now and harvest is a long way off still. Deep breaths...Calm.... Relax.....But, but.... Help. Please fill the airwaves across the world with your prayers and well wishes that all this will work out and me to just relax...I know from past personal experience that our IC community has a healing touch. Much :respect: my IC :friends: Thank you!

Prayers and a karma send as well - but do not trust them when they want to start cutting, you should get a second opinion before the knife. Good luck.

Just remember...God will never give you more than you can handle. Peace and calm will fill your soul if you ask him into your life. The worst of it all is not knowing, so ask tons of questions. I that's what got me thru cancer surgery 5 years ago.

Peace.

Positive thoughts are going out to you. In addition, get a second opinion.

Try to be around friends during this time.

indeed Hansel . . Always get a second opinion. . and a third: yourself. . .

always go with what your heart tells you and it will NEVER fail you . . it might not be your desirred outcome, but it will ALWAYS work out. . .

The prayers have been sent and now it is time for you to heal =) Much love has gone out to you and im sure you know this. . . Stay positive and be sure to accept all outcomes as Divine, for you are Divine. . .

Hard as it may seem try and enjoy your vacation, worry can't possibly help.
On a good note, dysplasia is a general term noting abnormal cells on the cervix, so don't think the worst. I have had those biopsies, not bad as far as the procedure, quite easy. And abnormal cells can even show up from something as minor as tissue irritation.

Yes, get a second opinion on the hysterectomy too.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

hey girl, al;l of the women in my life closest to me have either had a full or partial hysterectomy. there is life after it, i swear! :)

do you ovulate? if so have some eggs put on ice so that you can have (more?) children after the procedure..

this is a very common thing (ovarian cysts) and i am aware of the agony you are/will be goin thru physically, but more importantly MENTALLY, from this shit..dont let depression get the best of you, life has much to offer and if you can not have children, or feel you have lost part of your womanhood due to this, just know that all things are meant to be, maybe having it removed is a blessing in disguise, as u say, these things can become cancerous if not treated! do the right thing :) and dont kick yerself for doin what u have to do to stay ALIVE.

keep that chin up and pride in yer stride...theres a light at the end of the tunnel

be well

I'll agree with POMH in that. My ex used to have these cysts quite regularly, it's not that big a deal. Eveything will be allright

Thank you all!

Thank you all!

hurricanefaniam, sparobis, Flamengo, Haps, akornpatch, mriko, 420KushMaster, Ronley, hansel, rastamonunika, pieceofmyheart, ethereal, Sleepy, Alex-F, and Mr. Mo I want to thank you all so very much :respect: for your kind words, prayers and advice. I have gotten a second opinion and its the same. I'm very tired of hurting so that is a huge discision factor for me :puppydoge (very low tolerance for pain). I have had my kids already so thats not a factor for me :listen2: (pushed out 4 before I turned 30, I'm done). I have lass than a week til the biopsy, so I guess its just a waiting game now. You know I feel very lucky to be part of this community. I can truely feel the peace and love from you all. I have always been able to hand over my worries and fears to God but I always seem to take them back and try to fix them myself. I really need to learn how to give them over and let him keep them. Please keep praying and THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear of your ordeal. My fiancee had emergency surgery last month for a ruptured ovarian cyst. It had been causing her intermittent bouts of severe pain for six months leading up to the rupture. I have a pretty good idea of the pain you must be going through, because my girl has a very high pain tolerance and the cyst pain would leave her crying and screaming......so I wish you all the best in your treatment and recovery! Remember that you have a caring community here, always ready to help in any way we can....

Get well soon! (from another addicted fisherman)

Whish you the best. I know a girl who deals with the cysts, very painful. I hope you can get it taken care of. No need to worry since it won't help. Easier said than done but I hope it all works out for you. If you lived near I'd be glad to share. S.E. US
Peace
