BC,
"Don't have a cow man" heh heh
Sorry you seem to have taken my post as some kind of attack or insult on you.
And somehow you also made the disconnect to think you were being compared to sproutco. This I assure you was not my intent. However, as the forum leader of THIS forum, I must advise you to cut out the pompus asshole insult namecalling bullshit here and NOW. Smoke a fattie and re-evaluate your uncalled for outburst of insults buddy.... and refresh yourself re this websites TOU while you're at it.

PickledLSD,
As far as heat issue, I just dont see anything extreme or alarming in the pictures. Heat stress btw, isn't going to show up as starting at the bottom leaves. And btw, the leaves that have had their N translocated out will NOT recover back to green so where in these pics is this "top to bottom" yellowing you're now speaking of ?

All I see is a few lower fans begining to yellow off...

Hey! That sproutco avatar was my way of adding comic relief. I know I didn't add a dam thing to the thread, but so what! If you can't take a JOKE...well you know what to do!

So if thread starter, failed to mention the heat issue, and this is the reason for the yellowing....not the lack of Veg nutes the first two weeks of flowering....which is the majority concensus....then I say it's pointless to continue with discussion about adding more nitrogen. Which would, as already pointed out, cause more harm than good at this point. Lesson learned to the thread starter. Check the link in my sig, maybe that will help clear up any mis-information giving, asking for help.

BTW...re-read 10K's posts....he was insinuating that soon sproutco(BV) would drop in any moment to add his 1000 cents worth. Opinions are like assholes....everyone has one.

I'm cofused about how adding alil N with Big Bloom would harm things or "do more harm than good"? What exactly is the harm it can do? Jus because it isn't the way you grow doesn't mean it's wrong. You know there are a lot of folks that use a balanced NPK 3-4 weeks in ta flower then hit it with a higher P and K nute tawards the end and they have great results.I'm sure not going ta be so rude ta tell em there doin it wrong, mostly becuase I've never done it that way,so I can't really say it's wrong, plus their results speak fer them selves. But,I've used Fox Farm nutes fer years so I'm very sure of myself about what I can do with em.I'm not going ta give advice that I know nothin about. So after a post more or less stating I didn't know what I was talkin about and that I was doin more harm than good (btw duh isn't a very constructive word).Somethin like sproutco would do,then bringin up stump remover ina post right after, puttin me in the same light as sproutco, you bet yer ass I got salty.SO WOULD YOU! I was jus tryin ta help usein my methods(and fox farms),and until yuv tried em you really shouldn't be so closed minded cuz ya don't -really- know if it's gonna do more harm than good, huh?.... Oh well, if ya say this wasn't yer intent 10K so be it,my bad fer blowin up.But I jus wanted ya ta know where I was comin from.Take care...BC

If you'll look at the budsite at the very bottom of this pick then you'll notice it's nice and dark green. The entire plant used to be this green.

My lack of information got this thread off to a bad start. I apologize for causing confusion. I want to say thanks to everyone who tried to help. If that was your intention then thanks to you as well 10k. I just felt insulted.

BC and PickledLSD...
After having stayed up all night yesterday followed by working all day today, I am very burnt out. I'm just too damn tired to type right now and will explain my two cents fully later on tonight after I catch some zzzzzz's. I see why the way I spoke here was misunderstood as sarcasim on my part, my apologies for that and I will explain further later on today or tonight.

Briefly though, I feel we've both misinterpretted each other BC. My "FFS people stop freaking out" comment was a response to pickledlsd's frustrated looking post showing only the pics accompanied with the cuss gif. I saw a thread starter getting supplimental N advice from BC for the premature yellowing. Fine advice btw BC for 3 wks into 12/12, but it was followed with pickled's cuss gif post, which I totally interpreted as pickled being frustrated that the N bump hadnt greened up those non-regreenable yellow bottom leaves. The "FFS people" and the "duh" also relates to my own frustration over amount of "help my budding plant is yellowing" threads all pot boards inevitably have over and over and over again to infinity.

I felt a post on translocation during flowering post was very much in order after seeing the diagnosis turning towards a heat issue discussion which hadnt even been mentioned by pickled at that point. The sproutco reference btw was just a silly way of trying to add some levity to the discussion, and not directed to anyone in the thread, but I should have known better than to post that remark where I did BC.

anyway BC,
Why adding even more N after the first supplimental dose to plants that are now at four wks+ could be a bad thing later on for these fine looking plants, is a topic I'll go further into after I get me some more way overdue sleep...

A Tip

A Tip

For those that feel their plants are yellowing too soon in flower and don't have complete faith in what I say about usein Fox Farm nutes in the manner I decribed in this thread, pick yerself up some Age Old Organics Bloom nutes. It works great, esp fer the first half of flowering. It's NPK values are *5*-10-5.It's alil short when it comes ta some of the mirco nutes so supplementing with somethin like maxicrop will help there. But if yer usein good soil you don't even need ta bother with that. The stuff works great fer combating premature yellowing. You can run it all the way through till the last few weeks and flush the rest of the way or switch up half way through ta somethin that is lower in N and higher in P an K.As long as you get it flushed in enough time fer N ta be used up by the plant, the leaves will still yellow out jus like they're supposed to.Leavin ya with good clean tastin, burnin white ash bud. This is from experience so I know it works! Btw 10K it's all water under the bridge now my friend.Take care...BC
