I do not see our fucked up legislators getting this done, and it is a fucked up bill anyway, full of problems. I hoped it would pass, but have no illusions that the first years would not be safe to sign up for it.

I'm fifth generation here, my kids are sixth, hard to leave a place that deep in yer dna. I love the UP in michigan, but you have to be a polar bear to live there this time of year.

Looks like we are gonna outlaw blunt wraps too, like there ain't already enough laws, getting tired of the govt.

illinois is a deadbeat state... flat broke... you'd think they'd medicinalize for the sole fact of revenue.....but what can you say about a state run by a bunch of dumbasses... i can't really say TOO much cuz indiana isn't much better..

Lost the third reading with a close ass vote....

But it has been filed to try to get in another vote.... The bill status

Dammit, they're just postponing the inevitable. I was looking forward to another mmj friendly state to Amtrak through, keep up the fight IL!

I guess it's slightly encouraging that two reps who voted no are asking for the vote to be reconsidered.... Possibly to change their previous vote???

Not entirely clear on what it means to table a motion, whether its a good or bad thing, but we will see...

As haps said anyway, it's a majorly flawed bill. And with the information gathering the DEA has already tried to start in other MMJ states, it's easy to see where this bill is heading...

It'd be nice to say the state is coming out of the dark ages though, and passing some MMJ legislature would be a small start at least :moon:

There is still an outside chance the bill could be passed this session. As the Marijuana Policy Project noted in a Friday email to supporters, a representative who voted no on the bill can file for a motion of reconsideration to bring the bill up for another vote. One has already done so, the group reported.

too many corrupt politicians being puppeted in a economically stagnant state

haps-dna runs deep here too,can see others puffin on the horizon freely, whilst i gotta hide in the corn.

hope they (politicians-voters)take their heads out theyre asses and pass med to law for my vetran father and so many more.

The only way to legalize is to have the people vote for it, no other way, all the politicians will do is to keep reconsidering time after time after time, and after years nothing will get done, and all they will do is sit around with their fingers up their ass saying we are trying. but wont let the people of IL vote for it. But pay raises and spending money they do not have seem to get voted on in warp speed time.
