My thinking is its an S1 of triangle kush. CSI popped a heap and found a lot of OG Kush plants pop up in the S1's - Peace Kitcha

I’m not asking what it is I’m asking if you remade it what would you do I’m no noob....just a simply discussion for fun...

Let's have the discussion for fun then.
I suppose one could try and find building block strains to cross and hunt through..... that would be one way to go but I think this route would be impossible without a lab to test plants against a verified original OG Kush clone.
My thinking is to hunt through OG kush lines with known pedigrees and hunt out the recessives , breed those and come up with a seed line very close to the original lines.
The more I read and the more I learn I do believe that a certain lower yielding PNW hash plant (clone) was most certainly part of the original equation and I believe was used as the mother in the first step towards OG Kush.

- ahh - I'm not taking sides - and that's no excuse for you to post any crap too - flag it - and I will have a look -

- oh and lets get back to the topic of the thread 'If you remade og kush...where would you start?'

- 'cos I'm not one for drama - if it can be avoided -

Fair enough. I admit I have no to time or room to try to recreate an already legendary strain. Im just happy to seemingly have found it in hiding maybe. Its like Glue, (RIP Mr.Wales), why try to recreate what is already made ? Try to expand or improve like a other couple hundred thousand folks sure. Why would I spend a ton of time and effort to capture lighting in a bottle again and probably without success when I can reach out and thankfully have one? When the next thing comes along good. We just got done trying a cured grow of GG, ICC and StarDawg. And GG still holds up against all comers. ICC IS very good and bedtime med, StarDawg is right there but I only have so much room and time. GG is such a good girl.
Wont be long I will be trying I hope the real OG and Bubba. I dont need to reinvent the wheel in this case. It just seems like the fad of the day is just that. Someone with time and motivation WILL come up with the next Glue etc but not me. Wish I had time and room. I have heard Karma talk on podcasts about people just going down to the shops and picking up clones which is why,, thank god,, he decided to go into breeding. It all goes back to what your needs and circumstances are.

Too many hours spent reading too many threads on this very topic.
The story goes a Pakistani stationed soldier brought it back to Florida. Soldiers were never stationed in Pakistan.
However, contractors and CIA were and are to this day.
It’s obvious that the OG kush came from a special line of genetics that were in inbred for generations by one family.
For whatever reason, the master farmer/breeder chose to share the genetics with an “amreekan”
