If we use dolomite lime and bubble our tap water for 24 hours do we need to PH adjust

If we are using organic soil with added dolomite lime, and we bubble tap water for 24 hours, do we need to PH adjust?

From cannabis botany....

<<The ph of the soil is curcial to proper cannabis growth. A range of 6.5 to 7.5 (7.0 is neutral) is best.>>

Clearly the words of Robert C Clarke and yours are quite different.....

The ph chart you use shows where each element is most efficiently available....

but makes no statement about where there is sufficient element availability for good growth.....

I prefer the other ph chart.... by far.......

but it is pretty.....

Personally I think the chart you posted is the worst ph chart....and is quite misleading....

as though the ranges seen are the only range the element is available....

clearly untrue.....

Is that an old book or something ? I've never read about anybody maintaining a deliberate PH of more than 7 when growing in soil.

From another book.....

I can only suggest the level of expertise from someone posting under a false name may not be the best source.......

2.2 ~ Soil
It is imperative to analyze soil samples before commencing to sow hemp. Tests should be performed to determine pH, levels of organic matter, and macro- and micro-elements. Soil pH should range between 6.3 to 7.8, and it should contain at least 3.5% organic matter (more is better). Phosphorus should be at least >40 ppm, potassium >250 ppm, sulfur >5000 ppm, and calcium <6000 ppm. The ratios of elements also should be determined. For example, high levels of calcium bind phosphorus and make it unavailable to the plants --- a problem that can be avoided by testing the soil.

I guess it is some years old.... but its not just any book either.......

From ask ed....

If you are using a hydroponic system, the water's pH should be kept between 6.1-6.3

Clearly most would say this is too high.....

I think the main point is.....

that there are so few real scientific experiments to confirm the best ph that it sort of leaves us in the dark....

Personally I keep my soil plants in 6.5 to 7......
