Did you ever buy beer as a kid? Just stand out side the store and ask some one to get you a sack when they go in.

Sorry, Don't believe it to be possible for you not to be able to get trees where ever you are from! I mean did you recently just try Cannabis and it worked well? Thats all I can think of that would make sense on why you might not be able to aquire any bud. I mean nothing. Do you work? Ask a friend to ask a friend. Something!!

Good Luck

If your for real I'm sorry for your pain and my tone of voice. But I don't buy it.

PEACE

theres a bunch of people who came out to cali and got their recs...but they had to find residence here first and a mailing address...then wait a few weeks for your Cali ID to come in mail....

you dont need that though....theres tons of smalltime dealers on craigslist and such that might be down to not check for a rec....plenty of street dealers too...

i would come out...find a cheap ass apartment rent it for a few months...use that addy to apply for a california ID..

You are correct must have CA DL or ID cards. To correct my statement you need a ca picture ID or DL to show residency. ID cards look identical to DL.You can not use anything else. We know the laws saying CA DL is just habit as I have never had a ID card.

How to apply for or renew an identification (ID) card

DMV issues two types of ID cards. A regular ID card valid for six years, and a senior citizen ID card valid for 10 years. To qualify for a senior citizen ID card, you must be age 62 or older.

To apply for an ID card you will need to do the following:

Visit a DMV office (make an Appointment(s) for faster service)
Complete application form DL 44 (An original DL 44 form must be submitted. Copies will not be accepted.)
Give a thumb print
Have your picture taken
Provide your social security number. It will be verified with the Social Security Administration while you are in the office.
Verify your birth date and legal presence (you may use your California driver license)
Pay the application fee. (No fee for a senior citizen ID card.)
Check your address before you leave DMV and tell the DMV representative if your address is incorrect. Your new ID will be mailed to you within 60 days.

so you need a passport or something like that to verify you are legally in california, then you need a mailing address to get the ID within 60 days.
i wonder if the temporary they give you will work for a 215 scrip?

many folks who dont have a physical address, go to a ups store, or mailbox shop, that will give them a "suite number" that looks just like a normal business addy.

Don't you have any friends that puff? Where do they get their weed? Sometimes you have to go through friends and other times they'll set you up with the source. A friend with weed is indeed yada yada but a friend with a source is worth keeping in touch with. Don't settle for one, work your sources and default to the best ones.

They'll size you up in less than a minute so you better look like you're safe to deal with.

^^^ For many decades now. I was at a Dead show in Oakland in the late 80's and scored some really sweet Indica ($60 - 1/4) almost as soon as I got off the bus, just by looking around the bus stop, lol.

My first night in SF i was drinking in a bar.. smelt somthing nice wafting in from outside and it was the dude sitting next to me, Brought him a drink and he gave me a pipe outside and a a bud for a joint later. He said that there were plenty of guys in the bar who'd sell me a larger amount if i wanted.. but being from the UK i didn't fancy being caught with anything more than a bud.

good times..

im from out of state and i go to cali every month. easy as shit to get card, You will need a CA id to really get the experience. some clubs take out of state ids and passports but its not to many. if you know someone the shit on the street can be good and cheaper. to really do it right go get CA id, use friend address if can and use your out of state id with your paper id and take your recommendation paper work. you need that for any club the first time. use weedmaps.com to cut thru the clutter. If all else fails go to venice beach and act like a tourist and i promise you will get it. oh yeah watch out for docs offering grow licences, theirs no such thing and you just need your rec to buy and grow.

Just to clarify some things:

I have known many folks to get a Dr's rec without a CA DL/ID.
I know of no clubs that will let you in without a CA DL/ID.
I know most clubs do let you in with a temp CA DL/ID. It says on the paper that it plus your old ID are as good as a CA DL/ID. Harborside accepts it. CA will only mail your ID to a physical address and that address must be printed on the ID.
I bet some of the SF craigslist 215 delivery guys would accept a passport +rec. Just a guess, YMMV.
Ask anyone with dreadlocks or gold teeth and they can hook you up. There should be some locally where you are but if not feel free to travel to cali and use ours.

You might think they are thieves but they really help ppl that cant get it any other way. I work at a dispensary and we give away plenty of cannabis to sick ppl. Its not cheap no matter where you get it!

It is much cheaper outside of dispensaries actually. IF you want anything worth a damn from a sacramento dispensary you will have to spend $50-60 for an 1/8th. If I dont have a grow set up I know I can go get an ounce of some insanely good indoor that is much more consistent in quality than the dispensaries for $180. I can go get an ounce of some fire outdoor for $90-100. I can also grow my own for next to nothing and I do often. Most people can go straight to the grower these days and just about every square I know knows at least one grower besides me. Now a compassionate dispensary will lowball the grower and try to cop a pound of his finest indoor for $2500 on consignment and sell it buy the 1/8th for $50-60. THAT IS UNNECESSARY AND IMMORAL! The free weed I see dispensaries giving away for their "compassionate care" programs is bammer at best. Leafy low grade outs or ins, but it usually has no business being in a medical cannabis facility.

Not everyone is able to grow, and being able to walk into a dispensary and gets some relief without feeling like they are going to go to jail is a BIG deal. I see ppl from all walks of life that would NEVER get meds if we wernt there, and going to a "grower" isnt an option. I never said we were cheap, and I really dont think its immoral. You tell an 80 year old man he has to get his meds from guy on the street or a "grower" as you put it isnt going to happen. Until you see it everyday you really have no clue.

I was just stating that it is cheap OUTSIDE of a dispensary. Saying I have no clue is actually ridiculous as most of my clientele these days are middle aged people and a couple senior citizens. I have friends that work in dispensaries and know a couple owners of some dispensaries. I have been a vendor to dispensaries also and will never vend anymore. Getting offered $2500 for a full pack that they will sell as "Top Shelf" or "Private Reserve" and then they end up getting around $7000+ on that pound is asinine. So that right there is $4500 off of 1 pound! More than the pound itself. I understand taxes, building costs, electricity, cool decorating to look hip, and other expenses, but it is unnecessary. I think that is immoral to do that. I dont think someone who is dieing of cancer should have to spend $60+tax on a damn 1/8th! That is ludicrous!

How many people on disability do you know that can afford a $60 1/8th? How about $50? How about even $45 or $40? Thats why I have plenty of ex dispensary frequenters coming to me now. Better if not same quality as the top shelf, multiple varieties, delivered to their house with a smile, and done dirt cheap. When they find out they can get a quarter of equal or better bud for less than an 1/8th at the dispensary they will switch. Us growers arent shady hoodlums like your thought process suggests. Very few feel like they will go to jail for buying bud in California anymore. You cant even get a damn ticket for buying bud without a script let alone go to jail.

Now I have 3 friends that I personally know that gave cannabis to a dispensary on consignment and never got payed, but the bud sold. I myself had my life threatened by the director of Organnican in Santa Rosa. I was told that their biker buddies would come and handle me as well as a lot of other crazy stuff. This was all because I bought three clones from them that were untested garbage. A rock lock that hermied completely and was not rock lock, a lavender that wasnt a Lavender at all, and one other cut that I forgot what it was, but it was booboo. I informed them of their cuts and how they needed some more knowledgeable staff as the people that worked there were all eye candy and not knowledgeable. Is that worth a death threat? All of the Lavender Kush cuts I recieved from a reputable friend up North were great when grown in the exact same environment during that same run though.

There are a few good dispensaries out there that are all about the patients needs though, but those are rare. Foothill Wellness in sac was amazing. $35-40 1/8ths of amazing fire! That is definitely a solid deal for an elderly person that likes the convenience of going to a dispensary. Now some of the people I have to deal with dont want to drive cause they are too sick. I take it straight to them. Cant beat that.

I say bring back the person to person transactions and say goodbye to "compassionate" co ops. Patients can save money and know a bit more about their bud since the grower can explain how it was grown. Do you know how many bud tenders I have come across that have no clue at all on how the bud was grown, whether or not pesticides were used, if its organic or not? I remember one dispensary calling Sweet Tooth a sativa and charging $60 for an 1/8th of it. Im gonna shut up now as I have far too many first hand bad experiences with dispensaries as well as my dieing grandma and many friends and patients having similar stories. Im sure the dispensary you work at is nothing like the ones I have depicted and if someone was terminally ill, but had no cash I am sure you would give them truly medicinal quality bud for free. I know I do that often, so a profitable dispensary would too. Right?
