Is clicking under 21 an instant ban?
Nobody 21 actually gets a vote, which seems fair.

I'm not sure about this interpolation tbh. 31-40 is as popular as 41-65, with 2.1 people per year (as I type). It's hard to judge the over 65s, which is likely under 1 per year. As that group extends to 84.

With so few 22-30 the distribution in the 31-40 must be towards the upper end. Users in their 40s are making quite a showing, perhaps. I know people in their 50s tend to give up learning new stuff, and so their time here will be more chat related. While in their 40s, people are really polishing their skills. Sometimes to stay in a shrinking game.

Anyhow.. back to nappies, streams and diversification.

why do you think people born after 1985 are not interested in a pot growing site?

The market is flooded perhaps? The younger generation doesn’t understand prohibition and the struggle of growing in closets and RV’s. Most states that don’t have legalization still have people going into states with legalization and they bring back loads of gear.

When Arizona, USA legalized cannabis the market was absolutely flooded. $100 QP’s all day, they just couldn’t sell fast enough. All of the people that made cannabis illegal invested in companies to monopolize the market just as it was legalized. With that much grass they have to sell it wholesale so people can take it out of town.

I swear they planned this, there is very little reason to invest $1k+ into a personal grow when there is a store selling cannabis in almost every corner. What brought me back to growing after about a decade hiatus was the use of pesticides and growth hormones.

The greed for money has me coughing.

your site and your choice. when you will die, site will be shut down?
No - hopefully 🙏 ICMAG will remain - on this here Internet - long after my date-stamp is up - so that up-and-coming youngsters - soon to be 'supa-cleva stinky grandpas' - can enjoy the site - as we do every day -

It's the people - and not their age - that makes the site what it is - young or older - no matter - so long as they have something to say and share - that is of value to others -

okay, sounds good. some of grandpas are cool for sure. I can agree if somebody is sucker, age doesn't have such impact on it. on the other hand diseases and mainly pain can change your mind to worse...

Mr. Skunkman died.. RIP. Doobie died RIP and JoeShmoe(he was icon of icmag for me) died RIP. but where are new ones? you see such inspiring personalities out there?
What about supa not so stinky great grandma's !!

I think grandmas have too much work with grandpas at home... like "what does that old fool want again?"

Every generation has its outstanding individuals - some bloom early - some later - and come to be known for what they do or have done -

- pain is something to manage - as you age - some do it better than others - and 'up' their pain threshold's - then cope with it - others crap out - and fall by the wayside - get sick - and pass on - it is but the way of life and death - and for all of us - it is inevitable -

As we don't display our ages, it's unlikely to be putting people off.

If you come to a forum to learn, then you want the best around you.
If you come to a forum to try and look good, then you surround yourself with idiots.

There is a thing with the youth, where they don't have real lives as we see them. They think the internet is real life. Where they cultivate a screen name. They are inexperienced kids, pretending they're not. They can't be the influencer they want to be, when in the company of people that are 30 years ahead of them. Many are consumers not growers now, and try to make that part of cannabis more important than the growing, which is a real divide. This is a growing site. It's not for selfies.

More diaries might get the kids looking in more often. However, that won't be on their core feed, that they must keep trim. To get some likes. Because that's what matters to them.
