That being said...I have not attended, but I think there is more to be had from the event than a winners podium. The camaraderie of like minds and hearts would be more valuable for me. Heck, I already smoke the absolute very best weed in the world!

I do not buy weed. I do not sell weed. I do not have any sources for weed save for my garden. Hence, I grow the very best weed in the world, and have no need to travel anywhere just to smoke good weed. Although I have no doubts that my harvests can stand on equal ground with some of the best. (shrug)

Well it's a big trip to some.. Like Mecca of Weed sort of thing.

I should post my photos but I took so many.

I was getting up at 4 am and going to bed at 11pm most of the 10 days but a few were all night party nights since many clubs open at 11 PM..

Wow it was a blast and I may forget what people I met there if I see them again but I really enjoyed it all. It's tough first time Amsterdam and such, doing the tourist thing and the Cannabis cup ; both for the first time.

Learned two things .. No schedule and be sure to secure all hand held items as they will get left behind at some point.

I'd like to make it to the Dam this year, would be fun. Don't know about entering, my Grape Ape is good, but good enough for a cup. I guess we shall see, if I enter it then I would have about 13 weeks of cure time, is this too much? Also any info on entering would be greatly appreciated.

My entry won't be good enough to place for sure, but I'm looking forward to taking part and see it as an oppertunity to say thank you to the people running this site .. I think mine is pretty respectable also, I just mean maybe you don't need to have an eye on a cup to enter

Last year the requirement was 30g of bud or 5g of hash (or was it 7? anyone?).

I'm just trimming my entry... I hope theres something left on it, but its putting out half a gram of finger hash per plant (I'm not handling it anymore than I do anything else, but I never saw resin like this before )

hahaha...if I end up with no resin left on the bud, I'll just enter the finger gunk...
