I've never seen a political party that does not waste absurd amounts of money on marketing, public relations and advertising. There are some but they usually never get to power...where they can actually change something.

I dont know maybe it's different in the U.S...but i doubt it..

Would you wear a NORML shirt...if they actually did what they are supposed to do ?

no I wouldn't, but I have a NORML button on a jacket that I wore to the Marijuana March in April.

I know many people who laugh at the kids who wear marijuana pedants, shirts what not..

Its obvious they dont know jack about weed..but if some of the other kids from their class think it's cool..They did their part IMO..and maybe one out of ten..will actually search the net for what the fuss is about..and find ICmag for example...

I have been smoking pot for 30 years and it was cooler back then than it is now. Cops would see you smoking at concerts and such and as long as you weren't causing trouble, they were cool with it.

We have gone way backwards not forward.

It just makes it easier for them to be "watched" and then busted because they are generally stupid about their shit anyway. Having a bunch of pimple faced, IC Mag shirt wearing teens coming to this site won't help any cause, IMO.

I mean ok...thanks for having a growers forum, it's cool, but it is also is advertising for his company. All our grow diaries and smoke reports make other growers want to try out the same strains.

Dont get me wrong i agree with you whole heartedly and i agree my ideas on ..this are a bit manipulative and unethical..but that does not mean its less effective

And this business is not like any other imho...this site also..gives a chance for the breeders to advertise their shit..and those are the people who do the real work..

EDIT: In a nutshell..i would not mind throwing my money at the marijuana industry..Businessmen are smart enough not to sit on their money. They re-invest it..hopefully in something marijuana related..

Money drives everything these days not common sense...i hate it as much as the next guy..but..why fight it when you can use it..

Anyways.....

I think a ring or something like that would be cool, much more subtle than a shirt with a huge logo on it, but not so subtle that someone knowing what it is would miss it. Not sure what happened to the discussion of that idea, but I think it's a good one.

I've worn a couple necklaces for about a month each before I just got bored with it, and the only ring I've ever worn was my high school class ring (big and gold).
