Some folks that I met that paid for the HTCC passes were quite happy with
their purchase. What they told me that they do, after making a mistake last
year, they went only to the coffeeshops that give the free samples of their
HTCC cannabis and/or entries, and also give free gifts, and some like The
Greenhouse United gave even free breakfast, which is quite cool.
And the rest of the time they hang out mostly at the Powerzone during the day,
and in Melkweg in the evening. They even said that just the performers that
they saw at Melkweg were worth the price of their judges passes.
Jamie, that showed the Bij, and Borejongers CS, and a let sample few unique
NL/Haze buds...big respects to you. This was an excellent way to start
working on my low tolerance
And to many other folks that openly shared their gear, during these crazy days,
and that shared many crazy stories that I only hear when I am in NL.
As far as taking sides when it comes to GH and Mr. Nice Seeds, it is mostly
between people that either support Arjan or Shantibaba, and if you look in
reality, neither Arjan or Shantibaba have that much of a problem between
each other, because they are creating seeds that they are selling to people.
They don't come into this forum and have a go at each other openly, because
they really have better things to do in their lives.
It is just that they have chosen different paths to walk. Arjan chose the
coffeeshop chain/fem seed company, and Shantibaba chose the seed
company without feminized seeds and without coffeeshops.
This means that they are aware of their own personalities, and their strengths
and weaknesses and they concentrate on those things that they are really
good at.
So in the end they are both moving toward end results that are important
to them, and I don't really see the sense in the arguments that most people
have with each other about these two seed companies, and the two people
that are behind them. But that's me.
I always like sitting in coffeeshop Greenhouse United, and like how I am
treated by the staff and have exchanged a few words with both Arjan and
Franco, and they are very good business people, just like Soma, for example.
And one day I look forward to growing genetics from MNS, because I like
Neville's Haze and Super Silver Haze a lot, and want to grow these seeds
in the future as soon as I have the chance, especially considering that
MNS seems to have started to put these seeds out on a regular basis.
Anyway, in the end I just want to say, that we all have the same passion,
and I think it's better if we support each other, instead of taking sides and
trying to say who's genetics are better or worse. Instead you can grow them
out and make a decision for yourself, but as far as trying to take sides and
convince people that something is better or worse, it is not the best
approach, because the end-goal that we all want is for cannabis to be
legal in every part of the world, and to accomplish this we must all stick
together and do everything that we can to make this a reality.
