Will there be a category for outdoorbuds?
I know that buds harvested outdoor in september-october 2009 cannot compete with indoorbuds harvested february or march 2010.....
And I know for sure that some of my outdoorbuds simply are the best
....or sometimes the second best

I'm surprised you scandanavian guys haven't organised your own small cup in Christiana or somewhere cool, that would be a fair contest, you all growing in the same climate outdoors.

maybe you need to enquire and find out how many outdoor entries there are P?
If theres more than 5 or 6 I would defintely say I thought it was a good idea.. if theres only 2 or 3 then maybe not so good as with the less competition it would be easier for someone to win that category
edit - a good example of this would be the 3 hash entries last year.... people will have seen that and thought with only 3 others, I stand a good chance... I bet theres more than 3 this year because of that

I have a nice bag of herb that could go into an outdoor entry, like most OD vs Indoor it is less perfumed, but stronger so would not do too well against indoor weeds in the same category.
Going to be interesting to see who actually turns up with entries and who turns out to be just a lot of posts and hot air....

I really wasn't knocking anyone's outdoor weed at all, an outdoor category at the 420 cup would be great.

I'm full of posts and hot air... but also have 50g set aside since December
My only real apprehension is, that I've never glass cured a weed for 4 or 5 months before and I honestly think it will be less good than it woul've been in January/February.. I actually think long cures are a myth based on how awesomely perfumed and sticky my buds are about 2 or 3 weeks after drying...
In my experiance they get less so as more time passes...
I also have the same strain growing to come out on March 30th... so I guess we'll see
such controvery and no takers?

You guys smoke one for me D. Wish I could make it this year...still in veg and I am broke so no dam for me this year.
i'm also not into the longest cures, unless we are talking hash. with bud i find it gets to its full potential also around 1 month in to curing. after about 6 months you can notice the intensity of taste and smell getting slightly less. mind you the storage method plays a big role too.
