I've been snowboarding in the Alps whilst really, really high and kept getting mown down by squadrons of tiny children on skis zooming around. As for the ski lifts... not good, I tell you. Probably many stoners are way better in the snow than me though!

For those of you coming to 420-06 and determined to go the wintersport way there is an indoor 'dry' slope just outside Amsterdam... but 420 I think must remain on 4/20. Anybody up for moving Valentine's Day to a warmer time of year though?

I was thinking about coming and staying threw Queens Day. Why would you want to move the 4/20 cup? I say pack a sweater and a rain jacket and get set to smoke down. The only other thing that is need for the cup is a room streacher for the morning wake and bake sessions with DG!! The shop can fill quikly so get there early and bring something to drink if you plan on staying. It can be a strugle to make it to the water cooler, with so many people shoe horned into the shop!

I am an avid skier however and I will meet you at Whistler for a ski trip this winter. BOG I will bring the stash too...

the weather in A'dam is never spectacular... But there are better times than others, of course. If the 420 was held in summer, the other throngs of tourists would also be in attendance. A crowded City, in an already packed metropolis.

AmS in Summer is a circus. In fall, that would be great, but many of us are still 'working.'

I was talking to a Dutch fellow recently about sailing, and I asked him if there was a Dutch equivalent of 'red sky at night, sailor's delight...' He told me that they had a saying 'red sky at night, means it will rain in the morning... but it always rains in the morning.'

Just since this morning it has been sunny, then it started hailing, then the sun came out again, and now it's starting to snow... but the sun is still out.
