I'm looking into making a drip system.. shouldn't cost to much just need a timer, pump, hose, and drip noses. How many different drip holes would I need per plant you think??

Found this little lady bug looking thing on my plant.. what ya think it's doing??

Lookin for something to eat. lol.

Depends on the size of the pot. One usually. Drip rings are nice. Use a tee on the end of the spaghetti line and encircle the plant with it. 4 holes per ring. No real need for drippers, holes are good.

:joint: Lookin great bro. Remember with drip it's important to get the timing set right so you hit that sweet spot between drying out and drowning. Your ventilation and temps will determine how fast it dries out. That's the reason I went with Pro-Mix homebrew, the 2 gal flowering pots don't dry out as fast as the peat holds moisture longer.

Dead-on with the guano routine, with guanos a seeping tea is made and stored. Then the tea is added to the water for feedings, the plant only uses what it can so it's important to know when there's a risk of buildup and when to flush....

I'm and electronic engineer & programmer, not a chemist - all those things to track - jeez. Props to those that can do it. I have to rely on the guano kit like a true stoner, all the goodies have been added by nature for me. Check out Worm's Way's site if ya haven't already - great source for organic. They send ya the right guano for each stage, no guesswork. I'm watchin the coco stuff closely and wonderin how a guano regime would work in coco.

What's the cost difference in coco vs. promix?

BTW, I noticed some info on temps in the root zones in coco medium - they tend to go higher than denser mediums so it may be beneficial to ventilate-cool the pot area. The temps will rise as the moisture decreases....

Great job - will be watchin the progress...

See ya in chat.......... :woohoo:
