not true, people get packages all the time that wasn't meant to be sent to them. I think it would be kind of difficult to prosecute someone for receiving marijuana in the mail. most packages you don't have to sign for anyways, they'll just leave it on your doorstep if you don't answer the door. if that was the case, anyone could frame anyone they hate easily. simply take a pound of weed, send it to a person, and wait for delivery. tip the police, and boom. doesn't sound realistic to me. when you sign for a visibly damaged package though, or you see the mail man drop it, you are accepting responsibility for the package and the damage that may have been caused. it isn't enforced greatly though. they would have trouble prosecuting both the sender and receiver since the sender address could be faked, and the receiving address could have been wrong (or be used to frame someone). they simply can't prosecute you for illegal items sent to you or even from you by mail, without some harder evidence. the amount and type of drug sent would also determine the amount of resources put into an investigation. it is simpler for them to just throw away the packages if intercepted.

people get busted ALL THE TIME for recieving MJ in the mail.... what LEO does is delivers the package... then serves a search warrant mins later..

There are all kinds of cases like this in every state... look it up on a national law library using words "Mail OR Postal AND marijuana"

The person shipping it needs to take MUCHO precautions.... I for one appreciate the tutorial on sending herbs through the mail..

precautions are necessary and should be taken, however, I have yet to hear of a person getting arrested for receiving cannabis in the mail. it would be so easy to fight in court. you aren't responsible for whats sent to you in the mail, and serving a warrant minutes later would still not get them anywhere really. what if you hadn't opened the package yet? the surely can't charge you for something you just received in the mail and may not even know what is inside. even if you had just opened it and they did have a warrant you could be like 'I was just about to call you, I got the package with some green stuff in it and I don't know why'. The only way you could be held accountable is if you act like an idiot and give in to pressure by basically admitting you knew what was inside and meant to receive it...you'd be surprised how little police work police have to do when there are idiots basically spilling beans when they don't even have to.

do you realize the implications are if police can just bust down your door minutes later? it could be planted by police just so they can bust you and take your property and make a profit off of the bust, anyone could send bud to you and report you and put you in jail...it simply won't happen because if it did I could send all kinds of bud to people I hate, report them, and ruin their lives. I could send bud to a politician, call the police and the news (so it can be sure to be heard by the masses so it doesn't just disappear that easily) and have the guy arrested....just not gonna happen.

This is an addition to victorygardeners method:

Use regular mason jars, and get the jar attachment for the vacuum sealer.
Vacuum seal the jars.
Wrap jars in packaging tape. If the jars break, this is no problem
Coat the jars in rubberizer. You can find it in any hardware store, under the name 'grip dip' or something. It is used to coating wrenches for electricians or for extra grip.
Coating the jars in rubberizer is messy, and takes over 24 hours to dry. When done correctly the jar doesnt look like a jar, and if the glass is broken the seal is still hermetic (more or less).

Use a USPS express box, brand new. Make it look as clean as possible. Fill out the label ahead of time, and overnight it. If you use the prepaid size box (flat rate is under $20) you dont ever have to enter the post office.

i have never had my ID checked, or had the addy verified.

Not quite true. They can open mail if you are deemed a threat etc... They just can't pick up a box and say, i think this is not legal contents, and open it.

You gotta be on the "flagged" list.

Do not overnight your packedge, airport security is top notch.

vac seal your stash. take a shower. give your vac sealed stash a soak in bleach. apply latex gloves. remove stash from bleach. wipe down, re-apply to bleach. apply new pair of latex gloves. remove stash from bleach wipe down. keep packedge away from any areas that you smoke or stash has come in contact with.

and for shipping i like the idea of using a prepaid usps packedge. i dont know how that process works, but if you could buy the box plus shipping. without having to give them any information. then you could return to a drop box on your own time. early in the mourn wearing a scarf and your most hated sports team cap. then give the dallas cowboys hat to some deserving pal, or homeless guy on the streets
