i think my jack the ripper is hermied!!! fuck!

so my jack the ripper which i picked up from sr-71/blue sky i think has hermied. it is on day 37 and i see a couple of balls underneath the flowers. they look like parts a male plant would have. but there aren't that many, there are like 2 balls each under a few of the flowers. what should i do? should i pull them off? is it too late? did that shit already pollinate my garden?

That my friend arent male balls,that are calyxes but they are swollen,calyxes are the place where seeds would be in,try to squeeze one with your finger and if it s pretty hard than you have an already pollenated plant which will have some female seeds on her,but i think youdont have to worry!

That really looks like there are some seeds in there,i think you missed the hermie banannas and now have some seeds in your weed,dont fuckin worry and leave the plant,she will not lose any of the strenght or potency or whatewer,you will probably just get a couple of female seeds!I wish my plant hermied and i get seeds hihi peace

i never saw any ball sacks that could have pollinated anything...those are the first balls i've seen

squeeze one of the balls with your finger if you feel a seed in it then the answer is yes,and if its soft and you can squeeze it than you are fine!than its just calyxes swelling,which is a good thing!

looks normal to me. some strains have large calyx, some dont. sativas tend to have large calyx.

i doubt there is a seed in it because there are no dead anthers there. no pollination on any of the others. nothing to worry about

congrats on the newborn beanage stonedstoner...
I swear I see a calyx splitting open near the bottom of the first picture and one split calyxe in the center of the bottom photo with an open calyx that one half of a calx (sepal) that has already dropped its seed just above that same split calyx center of photo two.

Find that same location on the plant your showing in the picture and squeeze that fat one...a bean will pop out into your fingertips.

Those hairs dying shows that you might got some pollin unless its just cuz its maturing, which usually doesnt happen that early... I may see what your talkin about, is it on the first picture if you fallow the main branch down on the right side between the swollen pre-flower and the stem half way down those little nubs look like they could be early males. My folks had the single jack they had in a room full of every other blue sky type hermie up. It was the only one that hermied, only polinated itself tho...

Ya, that is a badass strain and Subcool is awesome. Glad you didn't have a hermi issue, never heard any complaints about his genetics.........although some call him a hack, but he is darn good at selection.

Enjoy this plant, about to get some Agent Orange myself......who has Jack in it.

She is very awesome. (for me) She produced some seeds(only the bottom nodes) but no dicks? How odd!

I have yet to try her at smokeable levels, but for now I can say her smell is of lemons and pine.
Mine is hairy, semi-dense with huge trichome pockets.

I hope you enjoy her as much as I will!

I never saw any male flowers and I watched like a hawk. There must not have been any cause nothing else in my room got pollenated. My JtR from bluesky has tiny immature seeds randomly thru all 5 plants i harvested, still smokes fine, once ya get the tiny seeds out. Its girls herb in my opinion. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Its just lemony pine with some sweetness and mild stone.

I am inclined to think is poor pheno selection by bluesky rather than shoddy subcool genetics, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors.

There are SOOOOOOO many better strains than this regardless.

My last run was all JTR's that I picked up from a club and am assuming they originally came from bluesky. I too had some immature seeds and didn't see any nanners during flowering. Did find one buried inside a flower though, after it was dried. Top colas were pretty clean. Still was good smoke. There are better, there are worse.

thats funny you all mention that all your bottom nugs were really fluffy. The main colas on all my JTR's are swelling nicely but the bottom is just doing barley anything at all. And i have Lst'd them all so all the would be bottom nugs are getting alot of light. Very bad pheno selection from bluesky i assume, as that is where i got mine from.

fwiw, I just received a pm from stonedstoner, and yes they were lightly seeded !
