My passion is Guerrilla Growing but i am not good at it, but it doesnt matter to me. its all about getting out there, enjoying the outdoors & having fun! I have had so many bad years in the past, had everything happen to my plants, from insects/animals to rippers, even had floods & heatwaves (not the same year tho lol)... & still paid less $$$ for my weed than my friends, i call that a success.
anyway ill start with the GG....
i live in the UK at ~55*lat. I'll mostly be digging beds for my plants, I used to dig a hole/plant but seen mega succes using both methods & using reg seeds i can plant much closer together in a bed & remove the males as(if) i want. i mix chicken poo, coco, MPcompost, to bulk them up a little, its pretty bad for flooding around these parts lol before i start most look like this...
and end up like this...
scatter some chicken poo on top, i will mix it in before i plants....
slugs were a nightmare last year, so i got some of this...
cut some 4" lengths of 40mm waste pipe & made these...

I suppose it does loosen the soil too. i plan to dig the plot up when im finished there so i can put about 20 (or more) bricks in the bottom, then some manure, then backfill it & cover with tarp. then pull out the surrounding weeds/reed/nettles etc to cover the tarp. there is a place near 1 of my plots that i plan to work on during summer while we have cover, ill be doing it there too
