I am going to buy a couple/few ounces of this Purple Urkle. I am lucky to have generous friends eh?

Interesting color...looks more like it may have come from some serious nutrient deficiencies, rather than a grown color of the bud. Still looks good though. I'd hit it...

Without knowing any better, which I don't, at first glance it looks like an SOS pad that's been sitting under the kitchen sink a few years...only much, much tastier looking. Nice friends, indeed.

Oh and please don't take that as dissing the bud, as I said it looks very tasty. Just saying at a quick glance being so packed with that texture just a slight resemblance until you focus on the beauty in the details.

Nah, don't bother wasting your time with that. Just send it my way and I will take care of it for you :D

I've never seen any deficiencies that make bud look like that, looks to me like a plant that grows real purple buds, and maybe they lowered temps during flower to get them to show even more.

Either way, looks amazing, something I'd be proud to grow. If you want to see some really purple buds, go check out Mister Postman's thread in the grow diaries section, he's got a real nice one! :joint:

Yeah sorry that's what I was trying to say. Some plants grow purple regardless of temperature, and some have to be nudged a bit by colder temps. Have you tried pushing your temps down on that plant during flower?

Looks like a great cross btw!
