I remember when...music meant something.
I just sold one of those tvs today. Now I am going to buy myself a nice porter cable 24" dovetail joint jig.Remember when televisions had tubes, you could check the tubes at most any grocery store. The channel changer was the knob on the front, I was the remote, hey go change the channel for me your closer.
I remember three on the tree very well, I aught to, I roll around in an old F100 all the time.Once more on the TVs, they were mono and black and white. When Nissan was Datsun and Chrysler was introducing some car made by Mitsubishi. And my dad saying how he didn't want to buy another set of tools that were metric. My dad and grandpa both had early Datsun but only as spare vehicles. Anyone remember the "3 on the tree" shifters or when you could look under the hood and see the ground? or when cars had full size spare tires and a real trunk?
I miss my 1963 Ford Falcon
When we trusted..
It was good. It seems to be about the time families started breakin up. Moms workin,Dads nonexistence, welfare. Everyone is lookin out for themselves. In my sad opinion we are not better off. We are breedin to many non-thinkers,and I for one do not trust stupid people.that seems like a very long time ago ...... but i do remember it being a good feeling. WTF happened?
