Ah Boone's Farm, so many good times. Do they still make that stuff?
We had a black and white Zenith that held out until 75.Our neighbours got the first color tv I'd ever seen - late 60's. We had black and white up until the mid 70's. It always seemed magical to go to their place, sit in the dark and see real flesh tones, green grass, blue sky come out of that box.
How about twisting the channel knobs so fast it sounded like a machine gun! Sure to cause the parents to scream at the very least.
Or when the knob broke & we just attached a small set of channel lock pliers to keep turning it?

oh yeah. Or taking those vice-grips away when you don't want anybody to change the channel
