What's new

I pray to the weed gods, no more hard purple stems.

Day 28 since flip. Plants are chugging along. I had one herm so it got tossed. I thought it was a bit crowded so this is a good thing. My bag seed is doing great. Smells like grapes and citrus and looks frosty with good yields. I'm happy for it.

Jeez I just can't get it right. I don't think I have a light intensity problem anymore. I'm starting to think I have a ph imbalance. I use promix as my base and I haven't added any lime in over a year. My grows earlier this year were perfect. There's no way I am missing any p. I'm thinking the plants just can't take it up. Any ideas? Feel free to chime in. Week 5 of flower. Leaf issues started week 4.

Day 42 of flower. Plants were yellowing and showing problems early on but I top dress and that seemed slow things down. I moved two plants out because they didn't perform well. And I'm pissed at my self because I discovered I miss labeled what I thought was cookie wreck for mota hari. That cut of cookie wreck was special. I have a seed I found In it so I might give it a try. My other seed is doing great as you can see they are going to be nice yielding plants that smell like lemon.

I thought stem color was largely genetics……

Nope it's... The environment.. And angry weed gods. And too much light. And 89 degree temps! And over watering. And under watering. And pH.

All weed problems are everything else's fault except nutrients.

Day 49 of flower. Things look like the will make the finish line. It's rough, but they will make it. Everything has packed on a good amount of weight. The terps are stronger than my last grows. No lat stage herms at all. I'm going to add a touch of lime a crushed oyster shell to try and buffer the ph. Since I'm promix based and I haven't added any in 4 grows. Same soil. I wanted to harvest at ten weeks. But I don't think they will make it that long. So lll probably take them at 9 weeks.

Calcium Boron helps increase p uptake..
Cal Mag helps avoid purple stems and leaf curl, gypsum in soil helps.

Been enriching soil with DE. Using molasses water and algae extract for water feeding. Hadn't had a single nutrient deficiency on several strains. What is not easily available to the plant will be provided by mycorrhizal fungi in exchange for sugar.

"Diatomaceous earth. 100% natural and organic. Safe for people, plants and animals. Starts killing scaly insects, insect larvae, worms, eggs upon contact. Can be used as a foliar spray, mixed into soil as soil enhancer, or sprinkled on the soil. Contains the following nutrients-
ASSIMILABLE PHOSPHORUS (P2 O5)
3.00 %
WATER SOLUBLE CALCIUM (CaO)
12.00 %
WATER SOLUBLE MAGNESIUM (MgO)
0.44 %
WATER SOLUBLE COPPER (Cu)
2.50%
WATER SOLUBLE IRON (Fe).
3.50%
WATER SOLUBLE MANGANESE (Mn)
0.27%
SILICON SOLUBLE IN HCL (SiO2)
45%
Humidity
1.52%

In addition to the components shown in the table, we can affirm that this element contains more than 30 minerals, including:
Silica, silver, aluminum, arsenic, barium, manganese, cobalt, chromium, copper, iron, beryllium, calcium, cadmium, molybdenum, sodium, niobium, nickel, bismuth, phosphorus, lead, antimony, lithium, zinc, strontium, mercury, potassium, lanthanum, magnesium, tellurium, thorium, titanium, thallium, uranium, vanadium, tungsten, scandium, tin, and zirconium."

How does h2o2 effect pH? Rainwater isn't perfect coming out of the sky ph wise.
That's true. Air quality will effect the water moving through it.

Negligible in such a diluted solution. A tiny bit more oxygen, but it's just to kill anything that may have found it's way into the water.

I dont seek perfect. Good enough works. Rainwater has never made a problem for me. Just like mom used to give them.
