I need help diagnosing my sick plants? early veg

What STRAIN are you growing? Bubblegum, Durban Poison, GDP x Skunk, G13xHaze
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?)Clones
What is the age of your plants? 2-4 weeks
How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now?2 weeks
How Tall are the plants? 5-10"
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? Vegetative
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) none yet
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) some are in 1 gallon bags, one is in a 4 gallon pot
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) FFOF
What Nutrient's are you using? Fox Farms Grow Big, Big Bloom
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* Have only given them one feeding of nutes at 1/2 strength 4-5 days ago.
How often are you feeding? Only fed with nutes once thus far
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? Not flowering yet
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect) only using veg nutes
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? Dont know
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? Dont know
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen?
How often are you watering?every 3-5 days
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding?fed 4-5 days ago with 1/2 strength nutes
What size bulb are you using? T-5's
What is the distance to the canopy? 2-3 inches
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) dont know, fairly low, i live in a dry climate.
What is the canopy temperature? 70-75 F
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range) lights on all the time at the moment
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)just using a desk fan to circulate air, i leave the tent door open.
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ?
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? slightly
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? I let it dry out before i water again.
Is your water HARD or SOFT? Dont know, i filter with a brita pitcher, my water is fairly good quality as far as I know
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? Filtered (with brita) tap water
Are you using water from a water softener? no
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? no
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? Neem oil mixed with water to make sure there were no bug problems (several weeks ago)
Are plant's infected with pest's? No

That just looks weird.
Beyond the weirdness, I see what may be cal-mag issues.
Did you have this problem before you added nutes?

Hazy, I have been having this problem for about 2 weeks, i just added nutes for the first time 4-5 days ago. I was begining to think it was a cal-mag deficiency. I'll try adding some cal-mag on my next watering.

I dont think its a cal mag def. I think your burning them with too much nutes. I had the same prob with early plants from seed and most of the time they dont need much to get to growing. for ex. on my plants from seed after the first two weeks im only at 250ppm and my tap water is at 80ppm so i diddnt add much. (Before that even less) Second thing is the ph, you should have it checked because some nutes get locked out at certain ph levels. Some soils have enough nutes for a long time also i think i run hydro.

are you spraying the leaves? no need for that, especially when the lights are on. I don't care who you are water at the roots not the leaves. the only time i spray them is sometimes when i'm making clones.

hey man, that's almost exactly what i have, and cant figure it out...the only difference is that mine starts at lower fan leafs, and it seems that yours is also higer up...but the pattern is almost the same...first i thought ph but and then Mg deficiency cuz it was between the veins but lacking classic Mg simptoms that are visible on yours...it starts with pale spots between veins and than like it thinns and burns...nutrient burn was out of the question...till now it progressed some and those lower leafs started yellowing but i believe that is N def cuz i really fed poorly while trying to bring down ph...

most problems i see like this tend to be nutrient lockout because of ph and the buildup of salts in the medium

Hey everybody, so it really cant be nute burn, this problem started a few weeks ago, and i just fed them nutes for the first time a few days ago. Also, I only sprayed them due to advice i got for treating deficiencies from the sick plant guide on ICmag. I sprayed them with the lights off, and put a fan on them until they were mostly dry.

dude, check out for spidermites, i thought i didnt have them and trying to resolve this problem figured i DO HAVE THEM! and my last thought on this was it may be mite damage, cuz around some of the spots theres a concentration of mite eggs...

get ya ph checked bro ...that the first port of call,...you locking somthing out....dont spray you plants (you dont need to) ..

i would go ahead and flush them out with normal ph water no nutr. it looks like a posable lock out on your micro nutr. ph lock out is common and alot of people over look it by adding more nutrs to the mix this just causes the soil to contain more salts and become toxic the plant has to contain more salts than the soil thus it can properly suck up more nutr and water from it

get a pH kit and test the water and runoff.
