I hate Verizon

I lost my cel phone, so I wanted to get a new one. Verizon will sell me one for $29.99, but only if I extend my contract for two more years. Otherwise, it will cost $199! Now, it would cost me $175 to cancel the contract. This sucks.

Found someone's phone on a ski run on the mountain once and called one of the numbers...The Mother lives 1000 kilometers away ...Wanted me to ship it there..Called another person and found his buddy.He said he lived 6 Kilometers away! Shipped it there..

Got a new cell phone 2 days later. I forgot the name of the website,,but The phone is free but you pay for the monthly plan..Some $50.00 for 300 minutes with camera phone.Good Deal!

After this Veirzon deal is up (about a year, i think).. it's time for the Pay-As-You-Go plan since right now Im basically paying $50/month to talk on the phone maybe 3 minutes per day.

cell phone, cable bill, car payments, house payments, property tax payments, financing consumer electronics like HDTVs, credit card bills...

The things you own really do end up owning you.

Dont buy in to em longer deals with a cheap phone. This is what u get.
If u'r a weed grower u might wanna have the option to kill the phone number at any given time. I use em prepaid things. No names, no registration needed. Dono if they have em in the in other countries, but we do

I've been waiting two weeks for my new phone to come in the mail. I don't really care (I dont even know what phone I'm getting), my two year plan ran out and they sent me a free one, which is good I guess considering my current one looks like it got ran over by a car. It didn't, just fell out the window of a moving one. What gets me is they said it'd be here in 5 to 7 days, so I don't know if they just suck at shipping or if someone jacked it.

Verizon sucks at most things. THe one thing they excel at is getting people to sign away a 2 year payment plan for a cool LOOKING phone

Yeah i just lost my phone and had to get another one from cingular. i went to the store and the cheapest phone they had was $200 but the guy gave me a new sim card with all my info on it and told me to go to walmart and buy a prepaid cingular phone and put this card in it, it works but the phone sucks.

Yeah, I use one of those prepaid phones. Just buy $15 of time every month. It sucks ass though, because I hate even having a phone. I feel like, well...a little girl when I carry it around. I feel so cheap owning a phone, gives off the impression that I give a crap. I only have it in case my car dies and I need to call someone.
I find it funny/pathetic when people say they can't live with out their phone.

i dont know if its just me, but that doesnt seem like a good plan at all, i get like 1500 minutes a month for 50 bucks, plus a a phone that cost another 50, that didnt seem like a bad deal at all.

Actually I am finding I like not having a cel. One less thing to keep track of. When I go out, I need my wallet, keys, glasses and sunglasses. Those are the basics I misplace those things at least once a day and spend lots of time looking for them.: And since I'm female there is also and appointment book, lipstick, hankies, pens, etc. But in the interest of marital harmony, I'm gonna have to suck up and go over to Verizon and buy a new (discount) phone...maybe.

I spend enough time away from home that a cell phone is handy, not to mention if I do go off the road I don't feel like dragging myself 5+ miles to a payphone, hasn't happened yet but you never know.

And for the people saying Verizon sucks, you're damn straight. However it's the best provider my state has...my state is a bit slow at getting things, which isn't exactly bad.

are you kidding me?.... do you have a social life?..... do you work?.... do you have a gf/wife?

you know some people really can't live without their phone cause they need it for work and they cant live without money.
