I have been for past week. today I started like usual in morning and halfway way thru my mom came in and reminded me about my appointment. is it okay to stop rite now and cover the solution am using and wen I get back check ph of solution and according to results up it or down it. can I continue putting the flushing solution? am using cyco kleanse purifier. I would only take two hours max. I think only hour n half but two max. please any input greatly appreciated

Whatever solution you are using isn't going to go bad in a few hours time. I'd be surprised if your ph fluctuated at all. Go make your appointment.. Silly billy.

Also, fwiw, don't be so anal about ph that you start using ph up and down together in conjunction, in case you were planning on utilizing both simultaneously to hit your numbers.

I never use both at same time. I jus ment if it went up ill use down or if went down ill use up. I usually always finish so I never left solution out. thanks for the advice truly appreciated. now I won't be all tripped out lol thanks again bro

Not to mention, it is a flush! I don't recall ever even checking the PH of a flush, but then again I'm lazy :D

OP

Edit - of course if you are using very low PPM water, it won't really modify the PH in the medium much.

My tap water must be super high in calcium or lime or bicarbonates or sumshit er another, because a little tiny bit of tap goes a long way in my dwc buckets in regards to stabilizing my ph. I have no use for ph up in my garden.

Tap comes out ~350. I dilute it down around 1:5 with ro which would put me ~ 50 ppm, which reads as 0 on my bluelab. Keeps my ph right above 6, which is where my girl likes it, as opposed to mid-lower 5's.

Sorry to derail. I'm just splitting hairs over here as it sounds like freddy is growing in soil or coco, to which my train of logic might not apply.

I personally never understood flushing "solutions" over just watering the hell out of it. Are these really that effective?

From what I can gather, the general consensus is that yes, they work in a pinch if you are dealing with over-fert, but that with proper feeding and dwindling, plants should not need any flushing agents.

Never used 'em, that's just an opinion I remember reading more than a few times here. Could be remembering incorrectly. I'm just going to chime out. Coffee overdose has me babbling.

yea am in soil. and am using a flushing agent cus i did over feed dem on week 4 on accident. plus cyco sent me a sample of everything besides rhyzo. looks super clean stuff.ill let ya kno if the flushing solution did any difference. am also using flawless finish on other half.

Don't adjust ph when flushing, all you should be doing is watering the plants

2 things
1-I use Flawless Finish for the first 2 flushes then plain ro water. I don't want to use anything with any level of anything nute wise in it before chopping..
2-Is your mom hot? lol Just kidding man
