i don't buy this guy's story about falling flowers

there is this guy around my town, he told me this story about how this other guy had a big tree/plant, so he would allow the flowers to fall off to the ground when they dried and he would then invite his buddies over to pick up the fallen dry flowers that naturally fell from the plant :chin:

ok, so the guy who is telling me this has a major in biology, so i asked him:

"are you sure it was the flowers you were smoking? perhaps you are confusing the flowers with the leaves? and that in actuality the guy invited you to smoke dried leaves?"

and he's like:

"yes, i am sure, it was the flowers"

keep in mind we are in a tropical latitude and we get 12/12 practically all year round, so plants here reveg. if you trim all the flowers, if not, the flowers simply rot to death usually stumping the growth of the plant and killing it if the wind and other factors do not help to clean the plant of the old flower clusters. besides, the shape itself of the female cannabis flowers does not seem to permit the mechanics for the buds to just fall down to the floor when dried...

so this is why i am not buying this guy's story. what do you think?

peace! :joint:

Mr. Nevermind

I dont buy it. I have let plants that finish in 60 days go up to 80-85 days out of neglet and curiousity. I have never seen anything fall off other than fan leaves. I think someone is yanking your chain

Yeah man that's silly, He sounds like he wishes he had something mysterious to attend like ceremonial smoking from his friend's divine plant.

I can't think of anything to support what he's saying maybe he's talking about some other etheogen. It's very possible he's describing Brugmansia

either that or some kind of large jimson weed, maybe a nightshade.
Their are literally thousands or plants containing many unique etheogens.
This friend of his might have had some local knowledge of what etheogen's grow naturally in the area.

They may have infact actually been smoking a very effective deliriant.

Sounds like he's lying to be cool.
I bet his friend meant "fall to the ground" as in they fall over from their own weight. Then I believe it.

This kinda brings up a Q I was thinking about.

How do the seeds naturally fall off in the wild?

^^yes MJ propagates around itself simply because most seeds just drop to the ground when the plants flowers dry up. eventually the buds will fall or blow away, but they wouldn't be worth smoking.....other seeds travel when animals have a munch or brush past the plant

You have to wait at least 100 days flowering for the buds to fall off. Then you get a rake and make a pile from the booty that has fallen to the ground. :canabis:

Warning to everyone reading who is curious, ayahuasca recipes are quite successful and under proper situations very safe!

They used ayahuasca a long time before any of us were here so don't be so naive. Of course the first place you hit up will be erowid, but its a great resource for this anyway.

Don't be paranoid, just wisen up

I have injested what the local's call jimson tea......small dose's quite powerfull...extreme third eye dreams.

To be used by the wise for sure, don't drink much, very little goes a looong way. Experience with dementia\
