ya a friend of mine..has a 2x2x3.5 lil box he made 150w hps.. and hits 70-100 grams a harvest.. with 1 plant scrogged.. he just does it to have a hobby and smoke something free here and there.
Is the soil compact? That can stunt growth, too.
Suggestionig up entire root ball, add perlite to existing mix, moisten existing medium in your pots, dig a concave hole large enough to gently replace the rootball/plant. Water a bit more, but not saturate.
Lights...2 @ 23w is not enough.

Hey Sandie......Things look to be shaping up. On the off chance, If you happen to be living in Australia....Next time use Yates seed raising mix to sprout your seedlings...I like to mix this with 30 percent vermiculite, but straight out of the bag is fine....Than pot them up into Amgro pot and peat potting mix...I like to mix this with 30 percent vermiculite as well, but perlite is an alright substitute...Mind you, Straight out of the bag is fine....
If your aiming at a very simple indoor grow, PH pens and TDS metres are bye no means mandatory....But good to have as your growing skills improve...You can feed your plants generic fertilizer like Power Feed or Charlie Carp while in Veg....These fertilisers require no PH buffering... Just mix with tap water and pour on...
For small plants it's wise to start out with a half strength dose...![]()
They look a lot better now than they did! You could probably have picked a better soil. More perlite, less sand. I personally grow in fox farms ocean forest. Its premixed and really has everything I need. I never use a drop of nutrients. Just tap water that I set out for a few days. I have occasionally thrown molasses in with water when flowering.
I also just do a small personal CFL grow. You learn a lot as you go and get better at the basics of watering and repotting. I generally water every 4 days in the small containers I'm using. You also learn to time transplants. I start in small cups, have a medium pot, then a final pot. Each time they get a bit more soil and a bit more nutrients. After the final repot they new soil will sustain it for at least 4 weeks. By the time your plant starts running low on nutrients, that's when you want it to.
I'm not saying what I do is the right way to grow, but its natural and I end up with good tasting clean bud. That's all I ever wanted to do. The first grow I did sucked, but each time I've gotten better at these basic things, watering and repotting.
Also Snype knows what he's doing. He's got tons of stuff on IC. He's a good person to listen to, and also a pretty inspiring guy, at least IMO as a grower. Anyway thumbs up on Your ladies! Glad that you are having fun growing all of our favorite plants.
looking better. might be a little hungry i would just wait and see if it improved or gets worse.
you don't wanna do too much when your plant is already having issues it's the fastest way to kill it. I wouldn't dig it up and repot it. in fact i would never advise that under any circumstance unless somehow you accidentally planted in rat poison. in which case dig it up, rinse off the roots real good and repot.
in any other situation just leave it. compact soil...unless you're growing in cement i doubt that's an issue. as for the bulbs and lighting.
lets see... 11x 23w bulbs with roughly 800-1600 lumens each. lets go low end and call em 800lumen bulbs.
so you already have 260watts of light at roughly 8500lumens which is the equivalent of a 100w HID lamp. and you are about to add 12 more for some 16-33,000 lumens the equivalent of a (i see most of these 23watters are 1600 lumens on google) 250w hps at 6 inches from the tops.

if you've never this is a good chart to be familiar with.
explains how light works for all the people who think you can only grow weed with a 1000w gavita.
the closer your light the more intense it is. a smaller light closer is the same or more effective than a larger light farther away. 11x 23w cfl bulbs within an inch of the top of the plants are more effective than a 600w bulb 18 inches off the tops![]()
