Tried their uptown, and CBH cross (20 seeds total)
nothing speciel really middel high and it smelled like warm spicy applepie no Frankie smell. I think I was not a great idea that they used Sawa male, seems all to dominant , at least in those lines.
Would luv to try more crosses from Them, cause they seem to really have nice genetics. We all have different taste , but i would rather narrow down my lines and focus on a few and work towards F4 and IBLs the shit out it.

La Perla Negra 🇲🇽 green & purple pheno

Aromas: a subtle blend of floral, musky, buttery, and woody notes, with hints of dried herbs and cotton candy kinda feel - though not overly sweet. The purple phenotype leans slightly more floral, while the green phenotype shares similarities with S.A.G.E. and Melon Madness in its cured bud aroma.

Effects: a stoned yet focused mental state combined with an energetic body high. The experience is introspective, with a sensation of floating, tunnel vision, and a "head-in-the-clouds" kind of high. Expect a big smile and a dry mouth.

Disclaimer:
avoid trying premature or early-cured samples, as they may cause an unpleasant, racy mental and physical experience.

Medium yielder, great bag appeal, good breeding potential.

Thanks for the detailed smoke report @Tranquilidade 👍🏼

Both phenos have the same effect/high?

I was assuming that different phenos when the are as different as green and purple are bound to have somewhat different effects...

Purple has a slightly stronger narcotic or "stony" effect and may also be a bit more euphoric, though not significantly.

Both phenos can feel energizing, almost as if something is lifting you in the upper back area.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if both phenotypes have a higher THCV content, considering its potential appetite-control properties.

Hey All,

I just came across this thread, and wanted to give my experience with the few Hyp3rids strains I've grown. I originally started popping their beans in 2023, and this past summer (2024 season), I grew out the following strains:

1. Cholo Breath: it was a large x-mass tree style plant, very good yield (nice heavy buds), frosty - it was finished early October. It had a pronounced "Skunky/Grapefruit/Chem" aroma, and taste was smooth, somewhat Earthy & Hashy. Effects: it produced a nice narcotic effect, heavy body, with some head high - I would probably rate it 50/50 - but my pheno leaned towards the narcotic body side. This produced a bountiful harvest of EZ trimming, heavy yielding, skunky buds. I would call it classic green; and was more of an afternoon, evening smoke. The effects left you a little lazy, relaxed, and happy.

2. Swamp Lilly: this plant was "medium" sized, branchy, and the buds were WHITE with resin - SERIOUS FROST - (think gorilla glue), I had to clean the scissors with alcohol after each branch/bud I took down (I do my trim work as I take each plant/branch down). The trimming was EZ, except for the fact it was so gummy. Once dried & cured, the final aroma was a nice "Sweet/Skunky" smell. It was the type of bud you keep smelling, because it's just so irresistible. When burned, it was a real treat - super flavorful, smooth smoke. Everyone commented on how it left a very pleasant, sweet, incense aroma in the air. It is the type of weed, that when you get a wiff, you know it's something Really Special - it's the kindest of the kind! Yield was also medium. This was true first class smoke (head stash) - and I would Highly Recommend this strain to anyone. I only poped 1-2 beans, and ended up with a beautiful female. Trying not to be selfish, I kept as much of this as possible for myself - it's the one I'm always reaching for - great day smoke, but can also be used in the evening too. It was much more "heady" than the Cholo Breath (surprised me - i thought it would be the other way around). Everyone loved the Swamp Lilly; it was like classic old school skunk, with very nice uplifting effects - made you talk, engage, get active, (or relax -if that's your thing), and be happy. ...you can tell, I really liked this one. The smoking experience: is very "expando" in the lungs - 1st your lungs blow up, and then your head launches into the sky (after a toke) - very powerful meds! This was my favorite of the three (3).

3. Shawa: This was a med-tall plant, with very good yields, and the buds were so dense, that when it got hit with a late season rain, it developed botrytis - and unfortunately, the mold spread rather quickly, so I can't give this a "full review" - as I only picked a few of the best looking nugs, and the rest went into compost. Not sure if other growers tried this one outdoors, but mine didn't really like the elements. Anyhow, the Shawa had a "Super Sour Lime Sweet Candy" Aroma - it made you want to eat the plant. Once dried & cured, the taste was good, but as I mentioned earlier, this was taken a bit too early - and it had a faint citrus taste, and a smooth smoke. As for effects, it definitely put you in a happy head space, smile on your face, very uplifting and relaxing at the same time. ....I poped one (1) seed in the previous season (2023) - and it turned out to be male, but the aroma was so nice -"sweet/sour/lime/candy" (and this was from a male plant) - it made me want to pursue this strain again. So I got lucky in 2024, when the seed I popped turned out to be female. This is a really nice strain if your after some "Sour Best Shit Ever - SBSE" - I can see why it got that name. My only advice: keep her inside, because she did not make it to end of season outdoors. I will definitely give this one a go again in the future.

I'll try to dig up some pics, and will post them soon. I just want to say their genetics are legitimate; you get what you buy. Strain preference is subjective, so just read the description(s), do some of your own research, and pick the strain that appeal to you.

I'll dig up some of my 2023 notes, and post up a few more reviews; I grew their Sawa, King Willie Bx1, Long Island Haze, and Shawa (male plant).

Hi,
Yeah - I recently opened an IG account to connect with others in the cannabis scene. My tech skills are lacking - but I hope to improve, as the more I use them. I do have some photos that I want to post, but have been having trouble with my laptop (my preference over cell phone - it's just much easier to see and use), that has hindered my postings of pics, etc.

I also joined this forum, as well as OG. Once I have time later this week/weekend, I'll upload my photos that I have. ....But as you probably know - the photos never do a strain justice (especially since I don't have the best cell phone camera - pretty old for today's standards - haha).

I was searching for some Haze, Vietnam, Thai type strains when I came across this topic. And I absolutely needed to chime in - especially since the Swamp Lilly was such an awesome strain. ....I've place a couple/few orders with you, so we definitely had conversation then - especially if I had any questions, or comments.

But that Swamp Lilly was a perfect combo of the '79' Skunk & No. 2. ....I'm guessing that the guys over at Sunshine State are on point with their genetics - because I've grown out a few different skunks, but the high from that combo was just different - more in the head, than just a body stone. And it had such a nice, smooth taste, and it was very "expando" - you had to be careful with how much you inhale - totally blows up in your lungs....and as soon as you exhale, you start feeling the effects. It's all gone now (I only had one plant of this). The other thing that really stood out was the burned smoke aroma - it's the type of aroma you gravitate to - like I've smoked, left the room, and when I come back - it still has this awesome lingering kind bud smell - not sure how to describe it - but if you were to smell it at a party, outdoors, or wherever - you're going to track it down to see what it is - it's just that good. It's a very unique skunky-incense-sweet type aroma. It was my favorite from last round.

As i get ready for the upcoming season, I'll have this one along with Cracker Jack, and I still need to make my other picks.

Wolfman F1 quick smoke report

Aromas: complex blend of scents, including hazy, musky, and woody notes, with hints of cloves, vanilla, tobacco, and citrus. There’s also a slightly pungent, almost pissy undertone. It reminds me of Soma's Amnesia but with an added livery, meaty quality.

Effects: The high is euphoric, uplifting, and positive, but somewhat muddled, likely due to the influence of Neville's Haze or Vietnam Black. I personally wish the high was clearer, and tolerance builds fast with Wolfman.

Generally it’s a haze dom hybrid.

I’d love to explore the F2 generation and search for more extreme phenotypes.

Tranquilidade - Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Your detailed Hyp3rids strain descriptions have been super helpful to all us looking to select which of their seeds to purchase. I am super appreciative of the smoke "effects" you have reported.

I've read all your posts multiple times. Would it be accurate to say that you liked the effects from the "Redwood Haze" strain the best so far? Would you grow it again?

Thanks in advance!

It's still too early to give a final verdict, as the effects and flavors are still developing. However, rest assured a full smoke report is coming soon.

A friend who has sampled my entire stash considers Redwood a winner, particularly this chunkier, higher-yielding phenotype. Personally, I’m not ready to pick a favorite yet, as I still need to evaluate Sku3k and Verde Limón.

I am growing the last 3 of 9 old DJM cbh s1’s

culled the ones with sedation..and the ones without sedation had the high iseek..were difficult to find potency

introspect I should have kept one of the more potent chunkier more resinous more frankies[but not] cuts..

and hoped it improved with age..I have hopes with these two healthy ones

I kept a cut of the no sedation one for couple years..then turfed it on a whim..did the same with a Vb cut smoked everyday solely for two years..said not enough potency and culled it..shoulda kept it too butniamgrowing Moreno the f2s I got from..
its a crap shoot..to find the style of high with no /little sedation and still have strong potency.l
I think that myrcenebsucks nalotmup lol

Tomahawk - thank you so much for your strain descriptions of Cholo Breath, Swamp Lilly, and Shawa. It is particularly helpful to those of us growing outside.

It would be great to learn about your experience with the three other strains - Sawa, King Willie Bx1, and Long Island Haze.

Thank you again!

His photo talent made me want to send some Euros. Not disappointed, didn’t arrive, so more was sent that did. Good service and communications.
Bit late to run, but the Bullion looks nice. So many delightful options. Well done Chewie.
