hydro vs soil

the last af i grew in coco yeilded 150g.

Was this dry weight for 1 plant? Thats impressive. What strain was it?

I did a test grow of the same strain side by side and the ones in the hydro (bubble buckets) are right now twice the size of the ones in soil. I used the best soil you can buy and all the right nutes. This is the first time I have tried hydro and it rocks for yield. I kind of like the mixing and such. I found that after trying a few brands of nutes that the Lucas method with Floranova is just about as easy as it gets.

yeh thats dry weight and the strain i normally use is called mac daddy a strain made by a friend here in new zealand, afgani super croppes and yields bout the same as the mac.i normally do one af just cause its my all time fav,heres my grow im doing now if you want to check it out

its takin a few years to sort out ,got a mate of mine whos just cracked 1450g from eight plants i helped him weigh up on the weekend,hes definatly got the green thumb and 15 years indoor experience,he does the same as me but he always does better
