My stoner brain was not working right and I bought PBP hydro bloom but I have a soil garden :cuss: what to do? Will it work I am 1 week into flower and have been using urine for an N def which seems to have fixed it and is working well but I would like to use something that doesn't smell like pee. Do I need to go back and buy soil nutes with the money I don't have or will hydro nutes work ok?

Don't use it, it's formulated to work for hydro, so ime don't use it.
Are you diluting your pee? If you dilute it correctly you won't be smelling urine no where near as bad.

You need to go back and ekither switch it or buy new ones.

Thanks for the help I will have to go buy some more when I have the money I would bring it back but I bought it in the small 3 pack they put out and I have already used the other 2 bottles. I have been using 10% urine mixed in a gallon it doesn't smell that bad just after sitting in the jug when I open it to give it to the girls it is really unpleasant but it does the trick. Heck I may even just use it all the way through on these plants just to see how well it works I am a veg head to and from what I have read it works better this way.

Hydro nutes are generally buffered in a pH range that's not good for soil. At the very least, you will have to be adjusting the pH of the solution with every feeding... but I still think, like Stitch, that it's too much of a crapshoot.

As for the pee thing, SuperThrive is a half decent substitute for pee, but be super careful not to overdo it, since it can put your plants into a coma, practically! It's VERY strong! When they say a drop a gallon there's a good reason for that, lol! It's loaded with Nitrogen.

Give me a break...

I've used GH's FloraNova series in all three of my soil grows and it has performed wonderfully. If you're worried about PH fluctuations, then add some dolomite lime to your soil mix.

Don't bother spending more money on nutes, when the ones you have will work fine.

We are not talking about flora nova, that is different subject, we are talking about PBP hydro bloom dude..... i agree with you though there are hydro nutes you can use, but not all, with this situation i stand by what I said.

p bp hydro is formulated for hydro, that is why they have a soil and hydro types.

As for GH, yes you can use them for hydro or soil, says so right on the bottle.

What is easy for you may not be easy for others, also the saying goes, what works for you may not work for others. This is very true.

Again like I said in the other thread:

Does not matter how many years you smoked or grown, there is still stuff you can learn and I live by that moto. Like I said, not everyone is you, so just because you don't use them or need them does not mean others don't.

All strains are different too, so there is absolutly NO way in hell you can grow every strain in promix reguardless if you use the nutrients you listed in the other threads and not use pH testers.

So unless you have grown out every strain, I would take your word for it, but every strain of pot is different and not all can handle pH swings like others let alone the same requirement of nutrients some can handle.

So again, that is why I am telling you it's BS. If it's too good to be true, then it's not true. There is nothing in life that involves, set it and forget it there is always going to have some kind of problem when you have that attitude towards stuff.

And like I said, what works for you may not work for others, this being the fact they are using different nutrients and different strains and have different growing conditions, let alone not everyone is going to drop what nutrients and time and money they have just to go out and buy the same stuff you listed.
