what would be the most ideal set up in a 4 x 8 tent? I already own (2) 600 watt digital lumateks, C.A.P 2a PPM controller, 3 x 6 Ebb and Flow set up, 14,000k Portable AC unit.

I wanted to buy (2) of those Super Sun II Refelctors and Need a good fan/filter. other then that what else could be used to max out the HH Deluxe capability? should i ditch the 3 x 6 tray and go with a 12 bucket Ebb and Flow Bucket system and toss in one more 600? I orignally wanted to put one of those Light Spinners in the tent but I have no clue how to Macguyver something to hold a 40 lbs spinning reflector inside the tent... I would love to start a detailed photo thread if someone can help me figure out to make it work....any feedback would be appreciated. :joint:

if it was me i would put 2 1000s in there with a fan hooked up to each and then the fans hooked up to one big ass scrubber. obviously both lights air cooled. i know you go tthe 600s so you should just do 3 600s.

If it was me I would put 2 1000's like this:IN>DUCT>LIGHT>DUCT>LIGHT>DUCT>8"VORTEX>OUT
Then I would hang a med. size can filter in there with 6" VORTEX sucking from the can and out. Now that only because Ill be growing med- larger plants. If I already had 2 600's as you do I would probably add another one runin straight line just like above only do sog or scrog methods and you could probly pump out some lbs. I just went to the hydro store and saw a HYDROHUT 4'x4' they just didnt have any deluxes put up yet. These thing are pretty neat can't wait to try one out. Good luck! nuggler

Put two more 600's in there, or two 1000's with parabolic reflectors. I would put 4x600s in there. Run 2 per inline fan.

12 plants? Why not shoot for 120? :chin:

I plan on soggin in my hut.

I don't know about flame retardant, I've wondered the same.

I LOVE my Hut...it's by far the best investment I've made with this hobby.

would i be better off setting up the portable A/C unit in the Tent rather then using a powerful fan to control any issues with heat if i run (3) 600's

If you get daystars you can plug them straight in the lumateks. W/ sun sys. you need an extra 10$ converter plug.
And if you plan on running in the summer you will probably need that ac any ways.

 Hi All ! Nice info !!! Here's a setup that does not take up space within the hut.......Most people vent to the attic....etc etc...Place your AC
unit outside the hut, and attach with ducting to the outside intake flange, then the inside intake flange attach a y splitter duct, then attach ducting to 1st duct for the lights with 2 x 1000 hps/mh with air cooled hoods with or without glass lens, and the 2nd duct will cool the hut.... then the exhaust
vent flange, there's various ways to vent hot/humid/smelly/stinky air, there's the Can Fan/filter way, or the newer Odor Sok way, the Can Filter is placed inside the hut with Can fan attached to ducting to the exhaust vent flange, and outside the hut the exhaust from the AC unit is vented through the same
exhaust from the hut through a y splitter duct out to the attic.....the Odor
Sok is a new lightweight carbon bag, that can be attached to a flange of various sizes 5"----20" anyway on the exhaust flange attach the can fan and
the Odor Sok together then to ducting and hang the fan/Sok from ceiling in hut, their website shows how....try hanging a can filter from the ceiling in a hut, and Kaboommmmm......lol!!! So the Can filter takes up some space, and
the Odor Sok will hang up in the corner out of the way.....whatever floats your boat..... :woohoo: There's another option that is very quiet!!!!

Put all noise making fans and AC units in the attic, and just place the Can filter or Odor Sok in the hut and duct all AC and exhaust where they need to
go....to create AC'd in and out filtered air flow, also I have not read about
altering the hut enviroment everytime the hut is opened to water or whatever
the hut has a nice 72 degrees going inside then BAMM! We unzip the hatch and slowly that temp/humidty is changed in minutes...not so good....
In a photo darkroom the door that enters is dark and rotates in a circle,so the
inside area stays the same..... DARK Maybe these huts should have a entrance chamber, you step in zip closed, then unzip to the inside of hut, I hope they do not take my idea, and make the new improved version lol !!
I see they have 4 vents on the newer huts, instead of 2 vents....I just bought
the 4x8 deluxe and is still in the box,I do not know if it is the newer or older
version  Peace!

Any heat issues with the hydro hut? our hydro guy has one in the store set up, the light is not vented but they have pole fan pulling air out. I asked him if they sold any he said quite a few. But, also said a couple people complained some about heat issues. So just was wondering if you were experiencing the same issue. it looks pretty cool. looked like it had cutout where exhaust would go and such.. ok peace..

Have you thought about using a single 1000 and a linear moving light system?
Since the cooling can be ducted through the lamp holder this might make the cooling a lot less complicated. Anyone give me your thoughts on this since I am planning to upgrade from my Hydro hut original to the delux hut with this kind of lighting and an aeroponics system.

 Hi All ! Cool idea!!! Yes take a light mover and mount it to the Hut
ceiling, hook up the hood and all, then on one side of hood attach an Odor Sok on the 6" or 8" flange,on the other side attach ducting with a little slack for
back and forth movement of hood to the exhaust Can fan that's mounted in
the upper right corner of the deluxe Hut,this way you are scrubbing and cooling and exhausting at the same time with one fan...... :yoinks: by the way check out OdorSok.com, these are GREAT for HUT PEOPLE!!! LOL!!!
they are bidirectional carbon filter bags, and weight only a couple of pounds,
perfect for hood placemment on a flange...they range in flange sizes 5"--16"
they are very cheap in price $55.....up to $175 dollars Stay clean And Cool!
Peace!

I have the 6" odor sok in my hut at start of week 4 of flowering and I have to say I'm not impressed at all. Im growing norther lights #5 which is not a very strong strain and I can smell it in the next room room. I have a couple of strains that are a lot stronger and I will be swapping back to the can 33. I'll just leave it on the out side of the cab and blow through it. I must say though this is the first time I have sucked through the filter maybe I'll blow through and give it a second chance.

I have the HH Deluxe. I run 2, 1K's w/air-cooled 6" vented hoods. A 6", 449cfm Vortex cools both hoods, but I have a portable AC hooked up in the same room that the hut is in. I will try to get some pics up in the next day or two, I need to find the USB cable for my cam.
